With Apple Pay, you now have an easy, secure, fast and convenient way to make purchases in stores and online using the iPhone, Apple Watch or iPad.


What is Apple Pay?

Apple Pay is a platform that allows you to make payment for your purchases simply by holding your Apple devices near the contactless payment terminals with devices' face ID / passcode / touch ID, instead of swiping/ dipping a credit card. It's Secure, Simple and even more useful.

Supported DBS credit cards

All DBS VISA and MasterCard credit cards can be added to Apple Pay. (DBS Black American Express Card, DBS ATM Card, DG Privilege Card, Extravaganza Card and First Edible Nest Card are not available at the moment).

Security of Apple Pay

How secure is an Apple Pay transaction?

Your card in Apple Pay is protected by your device "Face ID" / "Touch ID" / "Passcode". For security, when you make a purchase using Apple Pay, you must either use "Face ID" / "Touch ID" / "Passcode" for your device. All your payment information will be encrypted in your secure element, a dedicated chip in your device.

Will my personal / payment information be stored on the server or my device?

To deliver the best Apple Pay experience, we will display certain account information on your device, such as data for your recent purchase, for each card you selected to use with Apple Pay, but not your full account information.

Making payment with Apple Pay
Making payment with your iPhone – In store
  1. To make a purchase with Apple Pay in a store, verify your indentity with your device "Face ID" / "Touch ID" / "Passcode"

  2. Hold your iPhone within an inch of the contactless symbol (NFC) on the reader

  3. When the reader receives payment information from your device, the device vibrates and displays "Done"

  4. To switch cards on your iPhone, hold your device near the reader

  5. When your default card appears, tap it, then tap the card that you want to use. Verify your identification again if necessary with your device "Face ID" / "Touch ID" / "Passcode"

Making payment with your Apple Watch – In store
  1. To make a purchase with Apple Pay in a store, double click the side button and hold the display of your Apple Watch within an inch of the contactless reader. Wait until you feel a gentle tap

  2. When you default card appears, swipe left or right to switch cards. Hold your watch near the reader to pay

Making payment with your iPhone & iPad – Within an app
  1. Tap the "Buy with Apple Pay" or "Apple Pay" button

  2. Check your billing, shipping and contact information to ensure accuracy

  3. Tap ">" next to your card image if you want to pay with a different card

  4. If you enter your billing, shipping and contact information, Apple Pay will store that information so that you won't need to enter it again

  5. Verify your identification with your device "Face ID" / "Touch ID" / "Passcode". You will see "Done" when your payment is completed and a "Checkmark" on the screen

Remove card from Apple Pay
Remove a card on your iPhone
  1. To remove a card, you may tap on the "i" icon in your wallet or go to "Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay"

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap "Remove Card"

  3. Tap on "Remove" to remove the card

Remove a card on Apple Watch
  1. To remove a card, you may go to "Watch app > Wallet & Apple Pay"

  2. Tap on the card you wish to remove

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap "Remove Card"

  4. Tap on "Remove" to remove the card

Remove a card on your iPad
  1. To remove a card, you may go to "Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay"

  2. Tap on the card you wish to remove

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap "Remove Card"

  4. Tap on "Remove" to remove the card
