Things you should know before credit card cancellation

You need to settle your full credit card balance, burn your DBS$/COMPASS Dollar before card cancellation.

If you want to cancel your credit card, you need to settle your full credit card balance first and note:

For Principal cardholder

DBS$/COMPASS Dollar/Cash Rebate, spending offer will be forfeited
Please contact merchant directly if you have any auto pay transaction via this credit card
All supplementary card/Internet Account/Private Label Card under the same account will also be cancelled
If your account linked with AAVS (Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service), then the linked Octopus card will be blocked after the credit card has been cancelled. You need to re-apply for the Octopus Card. Therefore you might need to transfer AAVS to other financial institution to avoid any inconvenience caused before cancellation of our credit card.
If your account has credit balance, you can request a refund cheque through our customer service hotline.
