* DBS GlobeSend supports payment with charge type set as "OUR" (all local and overseas charges are borne by the remitter). The fixed preferential handling fee of supported currencies is HK$255 For details, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
** Illustrative example: According to the Bank Charges Schedule (Corporate Customers) (Section IV – Remittances), the handling fee for a Thai Baht (THB) telegraphic transfers (TT) via DBS Internet Banking is HK$115 per transaction. The correspondent bank charge applicable to charge type “OUR – All charges borne by remitter” for THB TT is HK$250 per transaction, making the total TT fee HK$365. In comparison, DBS GlobeSend offers a fixed handling fee of HK$255 per THB transaction without additional charges under the same charge type “OUR”, resulting in an up to 30% price reduction with DBS GlobeSend when compared to TT.
*** In general, the recipient will be able to receive the funds on the same day to within 2 working days of the recipient bank from the transfer date. However, this may vary depending on the destination or bank to which the payment is made, as well as relevant market regulations including but not limited to mandatory regulatory checks and currency holidays.
