This Policy will be effective on the following day after successful enrolment.

For how long can I enjoy the benefit from Free 30 Days Purchase Protection?
You can enjoy up to thirty (30) calendar days from the effective date of the Policy.
What is the “Free 30 Days Purchase Protection”?
During the Period of Insurance, in the event of Accidental Damage to an Eligible Item within 30 days from the date of purchase, this Policy will cover the cost of replacing or repairing of the Eligible Item, up to the Sum Insured as stated in the Policy.
What is an “Eligible Item”?

An Eligible Item means an item that:

  1. the cost of which has been directly charged in one (1) single transaction and full payment was settled by using Eligible Card; and/or paid on a monthly contract/subscription plan by using an Eligible Card (the switching from an alternative payment method to an Eligible Card will be excluded); and
  2. is purchased solely for personal use; and
  3. is new and has not been used when purchase; and
  4. is purchased through Retailer or Seller.
What is an “Eligible Card”?

The Eligible Card means the credit card issued by the Financial Institution and owned by an Insured Person.

What is a “Retailer or Seller”?

A Retailer or Seller means a trade registered company that sells goods directly to consumers in retail stores, online store, virtual store or through telephone marketing.

What is the Minimum Value of the Eligible Item?

The Minimum Value means the Eligible Item’s lowest required amount in relation to the original purchase price.

Is an Eligible Item covered if it was confiscated or destructed by any government or public authority?
The Free 30 Days Purchase Protection does not provide coverage for the Eligible Item for which was confiscated, seized or destructed by the government or any public authority.

How to Make a Claim

Submitting claims

You can call DBS Chubb Insurance Service Hotline at (+852) 3191 6618 (Monday to Friday, 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m., excluding public holidays) or email to [email protected] for any enquiries on how to submit a claim.

Processing duration

Upon receiving your claim and all supporting documentation, Chubb will begin assessing your claim within 5-7 business days. Once your claim is accepted, you will be reimbursed bank transfer within 5-7 business days from the date of acceptance.
