Southbound customer eligibility

Have full capacity for civil conduct

Being residents registered in the GBA cities, or with record of social security contribution or individual income tax payment in the GBA cities for 2 consecutive years

With 2 or more years of investment experience and net month-end household financial assets of RMB 1 million or more over the past 3 months, or month-end household financial assets of RMB 2 million or more over the past 3 months, or individual annual average income of RMB 400,000 or more over the past 3 years

After being assessed by DBS Hong Kong as not belonging to a vulnerable customer
Documents required
- People's Republic of China Resident Identity Card
- Passport or Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao
- Valid residential address proof*
*Supporting documents include but are not limited to: the second generation of resident identification card or driver's license with current residential address, letters sent by banks in the past 3 months, utility bills, etc.

Northbound Scheme investors should invest in their personal capacity, but not as joint-name or corporate customers, and should not authorize a third party to operate the account
