Ms Tan Su Shan joined DBS in June 2010 as Managing Director and Group Head of Wealth Management and added another hat in March 2013 when she was appointed Group Head for Consumer Banking. Most recently in October 2014, Su Shan became the first Singaporean to be recognised as the world’s “Best Leader in Private Banking” by PWM/The Banker, a leading wealth publication by the Financial Times Group. In June 2013, Su Shan was named “Outstanding Private Banker of the Year” by Private Banker International, marking it the first time an Asian has won this global award since its inception 20 years ago.

Prior to joining DBS, Su Shan was Morgan Stanley's Head of Private Wealth Management for Southeast Asia. Before re-joining Morgan Stanley in May 2008, she was Regional Head for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei for Citi Private Bank. She was responsible for the private bank's overall business and sat on the board of directors for Citi Trust Singapore. Su Shan was also its Singapore Investment Centre Head. Read More

From 1997 to 2005, Su Shan was Executive Director with Morgan Stanley in Singapore, serving as investment adviser to high net worth families, corporates and institutions in the region.

Su Shan spent eight years in ING Baring Securities in institutional equity sales, working in the key financial hubs of London, Tokyo and Hong Kong before she joined Morgan Stanley the first time.

She is the founder and past president of the Financial Women's Association in Singapore, and a board member of Aetos Security Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings. She also sits on the investment committee of the Ministry of Health Holdings. In addition, Su Shan is a member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore Private Banking Advisory Group.​

Married with two children, Su Shan is actively involved in fund-raising for various Singaporean charities and sits on the board of Singapore's KK Hospital Health Endowment Fund, which provides financial support to needy patients. She was a past board member of the National Museum and a member of the International Women's Foundation and the Young Presidents Organisation. She is an advisor to the prestigious Raffles Girls Primary School and SJI International School.

Su Shan has a Master of Arts from Oxford University, where she read Politics, Philosophy and Economics. In 2006, she was selected by Citi Private Bank to participate in the Senior Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. In May 2012, she was awarded the Distinguished Financial Industry Competent Professional (FICP) title, which is the highest certification mark for a financial practitioner in Singapore, by the Institute of Banking and Finance. Lawrence Lua is the Deputy Head of Private Bank since August 2016. Prior to this appointment, he was the Head of DBS Private Bank for South and Southeast Asia, a position held since 2011. Lawrence continues to be the Head of the Singapore Investment Centre and serves as a Member of the DBS Singapore Management Committee. In addition to these, he also serves in the various committees within the bank, including the Singapore Human Capital Committee, Disciplinary Committee and the Business Control Committee. Read More

Conferred a Fellow by the Institute of Banking and Finance, Lawrence has over 30 years of banking experience. Prior to joining DBS, he held senior positions in various foreign private banks and was the global market manager and country head for Citibank Private Bank Singapore from 1991 to 1999. Lawrence started his banking and finance career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a Senior Officer after graduating with a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours in Economics) from the National University of Singapore in 1982.

In addition to his role in DBS, Lawrence is a member of the Financial Industry Competency Standards (FICS) Wealth Management Working Group of the Institute of Banking and Finance, Singapore. He is the current Chairman of the CACS CPD Advisory Group* and has been invited and participated as a speaker at various industry-wide forums. Lawrence is also the Founding Chairman of the Board of Governors of Sparkletots Child Development Centre (Telok Blangah) since 1991, a non-profit organization to develop children before they enter formal education. He had also previously held positions and served in various community based organisations including the Citizens' Consultative Committee and Town Council.

Joseph Poon is Managing Director and Head of Southeast Asia, DBS Private Bank since August 2016. Joseph leads a team of over 100 staff and is responsible for driving and delivering growth in the Southeast Asia region.

Joseph has over 20 years of banking experience and joined DBS from UBS where he was Southeast Asia Head of the Ultra High Net Worth segment. He was also the Head of Global Family Office, Southeast Asia. Joseph was leading the businesses that drove the strategic growth for UBS’ highest valued clients by delivering bespoke solutions across the bank’s Investment Banking, Asset Management and Wealth Management segments. Joseph was the Head of Co-Investments & Private Equity, and a Member of Julius Baer’s Asia Management Committee. Prior to Julius Baer, he was the Asia Head of Macquarie’s Private Wealth business, which he had established. Before joining Macquarie Private Bank, he was the Head of JPMorgan Private Bank, Southeast Asia.

Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts, from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He is a CFA charterholder and has served as a board member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Association Singapore for 16 years. Less

Mr Tjandra Januar Jun joined DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited as Managing Director and North Asia Head of Private Banking in August 2013.

In his current role, Januar is responsible for managing and developing DBS’ private banking business in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China and Taiwan. Read More

Prior to joining DBS, Januar was a Managing Director for Barclays Wealth in Hong Kong, where he was Head of Greater China. He also spent 16 years with Goldman Sachs, most recently as Executive Director of the Investment Management Division. Januar started his banking career in fixed income sales in Taiwan.

Januar holds a Master of Business Administration from Wharton, the University of Pennsylvania in the US and Bachelor of Arts from Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo. Less

Rob Ioannou joined DBS Private Bank as Managing Director and Head of International in July 2016. His responsibilities include the Global South Asia and Non Resident Indian teams, the Europe, Middle East and Africa geographies, as well as the Japan International segment. Rob also serves as a member of the DBS Regional Wealth Management Committee. Read More

Prior to joining DBS, Rob was Co-Head of HSBC’s Private Bank for Southeast Asia and a Director of HSBC Trust Company Singapore. Rob spent 13 years at HSBC Private Bank, holding a number of senior positions in London as well as Singapore, including Business Head for Domestic and International markets, as well as Head of UHNW International for HSBC Private Bank in the UK.

A career private banker with over 20 years of financial services experience, Rob started his career with Citibank N.A in London, after which he moved to J.P Morgan as a senior coverage private banker for UHNW and international clients. Born in Greece and raised in the UK, Rob was educated at Mill Hill School in London and is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh with a Master of Arts Degree.

Outside of his role at DBS, Rob is an Executive Committee Member of the Singapore and Sri Lanka Business Association (SLBA) as well as a Senior Advisor to the Colombo Chamber of Commerce. An aspiring, part-time tea and cinnamon farmer in Sri Lanka, Rob is actively involved in local community development work, such as raising funds in support of disadvantaged communities. Less

V Arivazhagan was appointed the Chief Operating Officer of the Consumer Banking & Wealth Management Group in August 2014. In this role, he will implement our key business and operational strategies, and work with internal and external partners to develop a leading, integrated client experience across the bank’s retail and wealth segments. He was previously Head of Regional Investment and Treasury Products for the Consumer Banking Group where his team worked with various counterparties to originate and market product solutions to the different consumer banking and private banking segments in line with their needs and risk profile. Prior to joining the Consumer Banking Group in 2009, Ari was the Investment Product Head for DBS Bank Ltd's Private Bank in Hong Kong. Ari began his career with DBS Bank Ltd in 1988, providing advice on Treasury and Markets solutions to corporations and financial institutions.

Hou Wey Fook assumed the role of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) in September 2017. He leads a team of investment strategists and communications specialists within the CIO office, to establish and curate DBS's recommended investment strategies.

Wey Fook has 30 years of fund management experience under his belt. He started his career at Government of Singapore Investment Corp (GIC) followed by OCBC Asset Management. Under his leadership at OCBC Asset Management, he has consistently won the industry's accolades including “The Best Manager – Mixed Asset Class”. Read More

Lim Soon Chong is Regional Head of Investment Products & Advisory, Consumer Banking Group & Wealth Management. In his current role, Soon Chong oversees Investment Counselling, Investment & Treasury Product teams across various asset classes, Direct Market Access/Dealing functions and Discretionary Portfolio Management.

Prior to assuming his role, Soon Chong headed the Regional Balance Sheet Management function within DBS Corporate Treasury with responsibilities that included Group Asset & Liability Composition, Liquidity Transfer Pricing, Term Wholesale Funding and Structural Portfolio Management. As Head of Regional Balance Sheet Management, Soon Chong was also a member of the DBS Group Asset & Liability Management Committee and a member of the DBS Singapore Country Management Committee. Soon Chong joined DBS in 2006 in the Risk Management Department, working on integrating risk management practices, risk capital measurement, Basel II implementation, and partnering Group Finance on financial planning & strategy.

Soon Chong also worked at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, with experiences in a range of areas including Bank Capital & Prudential Policy, Macroeconomic Surveillance, Monetary Policy Research and International Financial Cooperation.

Mr. Peter Triggs joined DBS in April 2012 as Managing Director and Head of International Clients and Wealth Structuring. He is currently the Head of Regional Wealth Planning for DBS Private Bank.

Before joining DBS, Peter was Deputy CEO at Bank of China (Suisse) SA in Geneva. He also worked for the Citibank Private Bank for nineteen years, in Jersey (Head of Cititrust (Jersey) Limited), in Zurich (Head of Trust Marketing for Europe and the Middle East) and then in Asia as Head of Trust, and for three years as Head of Private Banking in Singapore and Malaysia. More recently, Peter worked in London and Geneva as Managing Director of The UHNW Middle East Group, and Head of the Corporate Finance Group working for a major client of the bank.

Prior to this, Peter was a Tax Principal for Deloitte in their London office. He has over twenty years of experience in dealing with private clients across the globe in tax and trust matters. Read More

Peter is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Chartered Tax Advisor in the UK, a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and a Chartered Trustee in Singapore. Audra Seah joined DBS Private Bank in September 2000 as Head of Fixed Income and Structured Products.

She oversees a team of product specialists providing investment solutions and execution capabilities to our clients. She also looks after a team of Investment Counsellors who cover the bank’s key clients, providing dedicated advisory services. Read More

Audra has more than 10 years of experience in the wealth management industry. Prior to joining DBS, she spent three years with the Investment Advisory Group in HSBC Private Bank. She started her banking career in institutional sales and her previous employers include Deutsche Bank and Westpac.

Audra graduated from the Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Business degree. She has a Master of Applied Finance degree from Australia’s Macquarie University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Audra speaks fluent English and Mandarin. She is married with 2 children. Less

Marc Lansonneur joined DBS in October 2014. Based in Singapore, he is leading the Investment Products Team across Consumer Banking Group including Private Banking.

His team of specialists cover equity, fixed income, funds and foreign exchange products. Previously Marc was working for Societe Generale where he held various positions in Private Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking in Asia, Europe and America. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry.

A French National, Marc holds a Master in Business Administration from E.S.S.E.C in Paris (France).

Mr. Donne Lee is Managing Director and head of Wealth Management solutions for Treasury & Markets (T&M). He was concurrently the regional head of Investment Advisory in the Private Bank from 2006 to 2010.

Donne joined DBS in 1987 and has 24 years of treasury markets and products experience. Besides driving T&M's client advisory platform to promote structured investment products to the consumer and Private Bank, Donne heads the FX margin trading group servicing high net worth trading clientele. Ms. Adeline Poon joined DBS Private Bank in January 2007 as Head of Fiduciary Services.

Adeline has over 15 years of experience in the trust and fiduciary services industry in Singapore. She focuses on international cross-border succession planning and family wealth issues.

Prior to joining DBS, she worked at Coutts Bank as a senior consultant in their Trust and Fiduciary Services department. Early on in her banking career, she spent seven years at HSBC Trustee (Singapore) Limited and held various roles in trust administration and wealth planning. Adeline has structured in excess of USD3 billion worth of assets. Read More
