We would like to inform you that a clause will be newly added to the DBS Octopus ATM Card Terms and Conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) with effect from 11 October 2016 (the “Effective Date”). The new clause is set out below:
5.2 The Customer should refer to the documents specified in paragraphs (c) to (e) of Clause 2.2 for details on use of the relevant personal data by OCL and ORL.
7.4 The value stored pursuant to the Octopus stored value function on the DBS Octopus ATM Card is not a protected deposit and is not protected by the Deposit Protection Scheme in Hong Kong.
A copy of the Terms and Conditions can be downloaded at our website www.dbs.com.hk, or can be obtained at any of our branches. Please note that the amendment shall be binding on you if you continue to use our DBS Octopus ATM Card after the Effective Date. If you do not accept the changes in the Terms and Conditions, please terminate your DBS Octopus ATM Card(s) before the Effective Date in accordance with your right of termination provided in the Terms and Conditions.
