DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“The Bank”) would like to alert customers and members of the public to fraudulent websites, phishing email and SMS. The Bank will never ask customers for their iBanking login credentials or one-time passwords through embedded links in email or SMS.

If customers are concerned that they may have disclosed their personal information or have conducted any transactions through such website or mobile app, they should immediately contact the Police and DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited’s Customer Service Hotline at (852) 2290 8888.

Alert: Fraudulent Facebook Pages and Suspicious Websites

DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“The Bank”) would like to alert our customers and the public of fraudulent Facebook pages of DBS credit card / COMPASS VISA. These fraudulent Facebook pages lure readers into clicking on one of the following suspicious links for prize-winning registration:

  • linkr[.]bio/cungrationoficial
  • linkr[.]bio/helikopter
  • linkr[.]bio/COMPASSVISATTEAM
  • linkfly[.]to/40826pByUUK
  • linkfly[.]to/40826dSnMKR
  • linkr[.]bio/team.officiall

The newly identified fraudulent Facebook pages of DBS include:

  • www[.]facebook[.]com/profile.php?id=100085854343383
  • www[.]facebook[.]com/profile.php?id=100085754027252

Public should also be aware of these fraudulent Facebook pages and suspicious websites.


Please note that the official Facebook pages of DBS credit card / COMPASS VISA are certified by Facebook with the blue verified badge. The official website of DBS in Hong Kong is www.dbs.com.hk. The bank has no connection to the above fraudulent Facebook pages and websites. We have reported the matter to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

Public should be aware of such suspicious message.

Alert: Staff impersonation on suspicious instant messages

HONG KONG, 23 May 2022

DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“The Bank”) would like to alert our customers and the mass public of suspicious WhatsApp instant messages sent from fraudster pretending to be staff of the Bank offering financial services. The recipient will be lured to provide personal information and may be told to transfer money to fraudster’s bank accounts. The mass public should be alerted when receiving suspicious instant messages who self-claimed to be the staff of the Bank.

  • Do not provide your personal information to third party.
  • Do not transfer your money to unknown bank account.

Alert: Suspicious instant messages and fake business name cards

HONG KONG, 8 Feb 2022 

DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Bank”) would like to alert our customers and the mass public of suspicious WhatsApp instant messages sent from fraudsters pretending to be staff of the Bank. The fraudsters made use of fake business name cards and referred the victims to third-party intermediaries, which are not associated with the Bank, for mortgage application. 
The mass public should be alerted when receiving suspicious instant messages and fake business name cards issued from unidentified individuals who self-claimed as the Bank staff.
 
Please note that:

  • The Bank has no connection to the fraudulent messages or fake business name cards.
  • The Bank does not require the customers to make any advance payment or deposit to facilitate mortgage applications.
