You can use the fund on the next business day after 3:30pm
If you deposit your cheque before cut-off time, you can use the fund on the next working day after 3:30pm. You can check the cut-off time of different channels as below for reference.
Branch counter service (Available for HKD,RMB,USD cheque)

Cheque deposit will be processed on the following clearing day after cut-off time. Please refer to the cut-off time indicated on the drop-in boxes.
DBS ATM (Available for HKD cheque only)
Cheque deposit will be processed on the following clearing day after cut-off time. Please refer to the cut-off time indicated on the ATMs.
