What are Paper Precious Metals?

Paper precious metals are referring to paper gold and paper silver (the ‘Products’).

They are products represented by credit balances in an account held by the investor with the Bank.

The Products are expressed in units of one fine troy ounce, specifically based on a 995 fine London Good Delivery gold bar for gold and a 999 fine London Good Delivery silver bar for silver (where the Bank may, from time-to-time, refer to ‘oz’ or ‘ounce’).

Do note such credit balances of the Products do not entitle the investor to specific bars of gold or silver.
