  1. HK Permanent Identity Card*; and
  2. Latest home address proof issued within the last 6 months (e.g. electricity bill, rate bill, bank statements). If you have a permanent home address, please also attach the permanent home address proof; and
  3. Bank account statement or first page of the passbook showing your name and account number for which disbursement and repayment will be made; and
  4. Full set of latest Salaries Tax Demand Note; or
    Latest 1 month's computer generated Payroll Advices; or
    Latest 3 months' bank statement / passbook showing your name, account number and salary entries;
  5. (Applicable to DBS Electric Vehicle Personal Instalment Loan only): a proof for purchase of electric vehicle

Is there any system requirement for online document submission?
We recommended using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari for online document submission.
Which kind of file formats are supported?
We support jpg, png, gif, PDF, tif, doc, ppt and bmp files.
What is the maximum number of documents I can upload each time?

You can upload up to 6 documents each time.

Any file size restriction?

File size for each document can be up to 5MB.

I have mistyped the application number, would that affect the application process?
No, it will not.
I forgot my application number; can I still upload the document?
Yes, you can upload the document without having to input the application number. However, please ensure you have entered other information correctly.
Can I cancel the uploading document while it is in progress?
Yes, you can. But all the files submitted in the same upload will be deleted and you will have to re-upload all the documents.
My internet connection disconnected while document upload is in progress, do I have to upload all the documents again?
Yes, our bank will not receive any document if there is any problem with the internet connection during the upload process, and you will have to upload all the documents again. A confirmation page listing the documents that you have successfully uploaded will be displayed after upload is completed.
Can I cancel the document submission after the file upload is completed?
No, you cannot cancel once document upload is completed.
How can I know if the document is successfully uploaded?
A thank you message “Thank you for your document submission” will be displayed after upload is completed.
If I submit more than one application at the same time, should I need to upload the required documents for each application?
For the same documents required (such as HKID, address proof and income proof), you only have to upload the document once.
I applied for personal loans through a DBS branch, can I also submit the document online?
You can submit the documents online no matter your application is made through our branch, website or other channels.
