Documents Required

  1. HK Permanent Identity Card*; and
  2. Latest home address proof issued within the last 6 months (e.g. electricity bill, rate bill, bank statements). If you have a permanent home address, please also attach the permanent home address proof; and
  3. Bank account statement or first page of the passbook showing your name and account number for which disbursement and repayment will be made; and
  4. Full set of latest Salaries Tax Demand Note; or
    Latest 1 month's computer generated Payroll Advices; or
    Latest 3 months' bank statement / passbook showing your name, account number and salary entries;

* For applicants who are not holders of HK Permanent Identity Card, please provide copies of HKID card and valid passport/travel document.

The Bank reserves the right to request additional documents for application processing your application.

Tips for upload

  • Enlarge the scanned image of your Identity Card to 200% and enhance the brightness.
  • Write your Identity Card number on the blank area of all document copies.
  • Each document file size can be up to 5MB.
  • We accept jpg, png, gif, PDF, tif, doc, ppt, mdi and bmp formats.

Yes, you can upload the document without having to input the application number. However, please ensure you have entered other information correctly.

Yes, you can. But all the files submitted in the same upload will be deleted and you will have to re-upload all the documents.

Yes, our bank will not receive any document if there is any problem with the internet connection during the upload process, and you will have to upload all the documents again. A confirmation page listing the documents that you have successfully uploaded will be displayed after upload is completed.

No, you cannot cancel once document upload is completed.

A thank you message “Thank you for your document submission” will be displayed after upload is completed.

For the same documents required (such as HKID, address proof and income proof), you only have to upload the document once.
