Reset of Daily Limit

Applicable for online funds transfer to non-registered third-party accounts or via PayFast

We are committed to providing you with a safe and secure online platform for you to conduct your daily banking transactions. As an enhanced security measure, if you have not performed any transactions listed below within the last 12 months via our online banking services, the respective daily limit will be reset to HK$0 automatically.

  • Online funds transfer to non-registered third-party accounts
  • PayFast and Scan & Pay transactions (PayFast daily limit is shared by PayFast and Scan & Pay)

If you would like to make those transactions again after the reset, you can reset the new daily limit as follows:

Step 1: Login and choose “Manage Transaction Limit” under “Preference”
Step 2: Select the transaction type and enter the new limit
Step 3: Verify details and submit

PayFast daily limit (PayFast daily limit is shared by PayFast and Scan & Pay)

Step 1: Log in and go to Settings > Transfer Settings
Step 2: Click "Register" at PayFast
Step 3: Follow on-screen instructions and complete PayFast activation

Step 3: Follow on-screen instructions and complete PayFast activation


Step 1: Log in and go to Transfers > Transfer Settings
Step 2: Select PayFast and click “Activate”
Step 3: Follow screen instruction and complete activation
