Open Banking allows information to be shared with Third-party Service Providers (TSPs, including IADS participating banks) via Application Program Interface (API). The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) promotes Open Banking to facilitate innovation and enhance customer experience. API is a computer programming approach that bridges between the bank and TSPs to provide more well-rounded services to our customers. Our TSP partners are registered through our partnership onboarding governance process and are continuously monitored to ensure your personal information is secured.
Using banking services via websites/ applications of third-party service providers (Chinese version only).
The HKMA Interbank Account Data Sharing (IADS) programme facilitates secure interbank account data sharing via Open API upon your consent. The data exchange allows participating banks to enhance your banking experience and offer services that help you better manage your finances.
As a data provider, we will share your DBS Current or Savings Account data with other participating banks via our API, subject to your consent. You can manage your consent at any time by logging in to DBS digibank HK app, and tapping “Manage Open Banking” under the “Manage” tab.

As at the date of this notice, the following is a list of the IADS participating banks which you can share your DBS Current or Savings Account data with. You have full control over your data sharing. Your DBS Current or Savings Account data will only be shared with the selected banks that you have provided your consent to. You can review and cancel your consents at any time through DBS digibank HK app. The list will be updated regularly.
