Open Banking allows information to be shared with Third-party Service Providers (TSPs, including IADS participating banks) via Application Program Interface (API). The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) promotes Open Banking to facilitate innovation and enhance customer experience. API is a computer programming approach that bridges between the bank and TSPs to provide more well-rounded services to our customers. Our TSP partners are registered through our partnership onboarding governance process and are continuously monitored to ensure your personal information is secured.
The HKMA Interbank Account Data Sharing (IADS) programme facilitates secure interbank account data sharing via Open API upon your consent. The data exchange allows participating banks to enhance your banking experience and offer services that help you better manage your finances.
You can view your account balances at the following banks in one place with DBS digibank HK app:

Step 1 Login to DBS digibank HK app
Step 2 Tap “Save”
Step 3 Tap the “Link a bank” banner
Step 4 Select the bank you want to link
Step 5 Complete the process on your selected bank's app or website
Step 6 Tap “Cash balance” to view your account balances at DBS and the linked bank(s)
