Prioritize and expedite the re-issuance of banking documents, and speed up replacement of items such as ATM cards, credit cards and debit cards, and make flexible arrangements for collection or mailing.

Set up internal task forces to appropriately redeploy resources according to the needs of affected residents so as to respond swiftly to the practical needs of affected residents, including guiding frontline staff in handling enquiries and simplifying procedures, with discretionary handling where appropriate.

Provide flexible arrangement to meet liquidity demand by affected residents, e.g. on discretionary basis offer cash withdrawal without presentation of identity documents.

Extend the service hours of branches in the Tai Po district and increase staffing to ensure banking services availability to the affected residents; Our opening hours for branches in Tai Po will be extended from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on 6 December (Saturday), and from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on 7 December (Sunday).
