“AlipayHK Taobao® InstaRedeem Up to HK$40 Reward” Terms and Conditions

  1. The “AlipayHK Taobao InstaRedeem Up to HK$40 Reward” (“Promotion”) is only applicable to the principal cardholders of DBS Credit Cards, its Co-branded Cards and DBS COMPASS VISA (excluding Private Label Card and Business Cards) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“The Bank”), and who has not performed any transactions with any Applicable Credit Card at Taobao® (“TaoBao”, including but not limited to Taobao® Marketplace (world.taobao.com), Tmall Marketplace (tmall.com) or Taobao Mobile Application) in the past 12 months (“Selected Customers”).
  2. The Promotion runs from 5 December 2018 to 27 December 2018, both dates inclusive ("Promotion Period").
  3. Upon a single retail spending of HK$150 or above at Taobao using AlipayHK with the Applicable Credit Card at Taobao® during the Promotion Period ("Eligible Transaction"), Selected Customers will be entitled to deduct HK$20 discount (“Reward”) from that transaction through the Red "InstaRedeem" function of DBS Omni after the transaction posted and displayed in Timeline. Each Omni account can enjoy the Reward twice only.
  4. A total of 4,000 Rewards will be given out until quota full.
  5. To be eligible to enjoy this Reward, Selected Customers are required to install the DBS Omni mobile application and successfully register an DBS Omni account during the Promotion Period, and turn on the notification in DBS Omni setting > Push Notification > “InstaRedeem” for participating in the Promotion. Selected Customers must enjoy the Reward by 31 January 2019; otherwise, it is considered to give up the Reward on its own.
  6. The Reward entitled by Selected Customer shall be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion based on the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the record held by Selected Customer and that held by the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive and binding on the Selected Customer.
  7. Reward is only applicable to Selected Customers whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period. If the status of a Selected Customer’s Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Selected Customer from participating in the Promotion and/or enjoying the Reward.
  8. Selected Customers must retain the original transaction slips of any transactions. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to require Selected Customers to submit the relevant original transaction slips, other documents or evidence for verification. The submitted transaction slips, documents and/or evidence will not be returned. If there is any discrepancy between the Bank’s record and Selected Customer’s record of any transaction, the Bank’s record shall prevail.
  9. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non compliance by Selected Customer, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the Reward from Selected Customer’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  10. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
  11. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s decision is final.
  12. Any enquiry, claim or complaint in relation to the quality or availability of the products/services shall be directed to the merchant. The Bank shall assume no liability in respect thereof.
  13. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
