”$800 COMPASS Dollar Rebate for selected customer” Promotion Terms and Conditions:

 

  1. ”$800 COMPASS Dollar Rebate for selected customer” Promotion (the "Promotion") is only applicable to the principal cardholders of DBS COMPASS VISA invited by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank") ("Selected Cardholders"). The participation eligibility cannot be transferred to others by the Selected Cardholders. Selected Cardholders must register and participate in the Promotion by Designed Credit Card (“Designated Credit Card”) stated in the Promotion Materials (the “Promotion Materials”) issued by the Bank.
  2. The Spending Period starts from 23 April to 31 July 2018, both dates inclusive (“Spending Period”).
  3. To be eligible for the Promotion, Selected Cardholders are required to successfully register the Promotion between 9:00am (HK Time) on 23 April 2018 and 11:59pm (HK Time) on 31 July 2018 (according to the Bank’s website record) (“Registration Period”) via webpage https://cards.dbs.com.hk or DBS Omni mobile application following below steps:
    1. Register DBS Omni membership (Selected Cardholders who are already with DBS Omni membership may skip step i and go to step ii directly);
    2. Register the Promotion with his/her Designated Credit Card. Selected Cardholders have to read and confirm the acceptance of the Promotion’s terms and conditions and input the required information according to the instructions. Selected Cardholders will be given a confirmation email with reference number upon successful registration for record and enquiry purposes. Each Designated Credit Card is only required to register once.
  4. Selected Cardholders who have failed to register for the Promotion within the Registration Period or have provided incorrect information shall not be eligible for the Promotion. All information provided for registration cannot be cancelled or amended upon successful registration.
  5. Selected Cardholders who accumulate Eligible Spending (“Eligible Spending”, definition refers to Clause 6 below) with Designated Credit Card to Designated Spending Target (“Designated Spending Target”) listed in the Bank’s Promotion Materials during Spending Period are eligible to receive $800 COMPASS Dollar (“Reward”). Each Selected Cardholder can enjoy the Reward once for the Promotion.
  6. For the purpose of the Promotion, “Eligible Spending” means any posted retail transactions, reload amount of Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service and/or monthly payment of “Card Interest-free Instalment Loan”. For the avoidance of doubt, the following types of transactions shall not be regarded as Eligible Spending : cash advance and relevant handling/administration fees, application fee/handling fee of Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service, Balance Transfer, Flexi Cash, Call-a-loan, Funds Transfer, Fee Based Instalment, COMPASS VISA Flexi Shopping Instalment, tax payment, insurance payment, all bill payment transactions made via DBS iBanking, JET Payment Service or any other means as specified by the Bank from time to time, transactions in Hong Kong Dollars at the point of sales (in case of online transactions, the place of registration and/or settlement of the merchant) outside Hong Kong, casino chips, foreign exchange, security purchases, credit card annual fee, finance charges, late charges, reversed transactions, transaction that has been subject to cancellation, charge-back, return of goods and/or refund, purchase and/or reload of stored value cards or e-wallets (including but not limited to PayMe, WeChat Pay and Alipay) or any other types of transactions as the Bank may specify from time to time. All Eligible Spending will be counted based on the transaction date and conducted during Spending Period.
  7. Reward will be credited to the Selected Cardholders’ Designated Credit Card account within 3 months after the end of Spending Period and shown on the monthly statement.
  8. If there’s any supplementary card applied under the Designated Credit Card account, the Eligible Spending conducted with the supplementary card of the Designated Credit Card will be counted as the spending under the principal card account. Transactions conducted with different credit cards of the Selected Cardholder cannot be combined.
  9. Reward cannot be transferred, or exchanged for cash, credit limit or other discount/good/service.
  10. Eligibility of any transaction for the purpose of the Promotion shall be determined based on its transaction date and time in the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the Bank’s record and Selected Cardholders’ transaction slip, the Bank’s record and determination shall be final and conclusive.
  11. The validity of any registration and/or Reward eligibility of Selected Cardholders will be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion. In the event of discrepancy or inconsistency of registration record between Selected Cardholders and the Bank, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
  12. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non compliance by the Selected Cardholder, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the Reward from the Selected Cardholder’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  13. Reward is only applicable to Selected Cardholders whose Designated Credit Card accounts are in good standing, remain valid and not in default (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Spending Period until the Reward has been credited. If the account status has changed, the Bank reserves the right to terminate the Reward for the Selected Cardholder. The Bank shall have the sole discretion in determining a Selected Cardholder’s eligibility to the Reward.
  14. Selected Cardholders must retain the original transaction slips of any transactions. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to require Selected Cardholders to submit the relevant original transaction slips, other documents or evidence for verification. The submitted transaction slips, documents and/or evidence will not be returned. If there is any discrepancy between the Bank’s record and Selected Cardholder’s record of any transaction, the Bank’s record shall prevail.
  15. A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
  16. The Bank may change the terms and conditions and/or modify/terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s decision is final.
  17. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
