“DBS Black World Mastercard^® InstaRedeem 20% Off Offer” Terms and Conditions:

 

1. “DBS Black World Mastercard InstaRedeem 20% Off Offer” (“Promotion”) is applicable to the principal cardholders (“Cardholders”) of DBS Black World Mastercard (“Credit Card”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”). This Promotion is not applicable to those Cardholders who choose to participate in DBS$ Cash Rebate Scheme under the DBS$ Reward Scheme.
2. Cardholders who set off the amount payable for spending at Agoda, AirAsia, British Airways, Cathay Dragon, Cathay Pacific, Cathay Pacific Holidays, China Airlines, EVA Air, Expedia, HK Express, Hong Kong Airlines, Peach Aviation, Singapore Airlines, Singapore Airlines Holidays, Thai Airways or Vanilla Air (“Designated Merchant”) through the use of the InstaRedeem function of DBS Omni from now to 31 May 2018 (“Promotion Period”) can enjoy a conversion rate of DBS$1 to HK$1.25 (“Offer”).
3. Since DBS$ is in integral, if a Cardholder would like to fully set off the amount payable for spending at the Designated Merchant, the Bank will first round down the required the DBS$ to the nearest integer, then convert it into HK$ amount at the rate of DBS$1 to HK$1.25. If the converted HK$ amount has decimal places, the Bank will round up the amount to the nearest integer and credit the amount into the Credit Card account. For avoidance of doubt, please refer to the below calculation of B and C in the illustration using DBS$ for reference:

* After the adjustment of decimal places, under certain circumstances, Cardholders may not be able to fully set off the amount payable for the spending.

4. Besides fully set off the amount payable for spending at Designated Merchant, Cardholders can also choose to use DBS$ to set off part of it. In calculating the HK$ amount that can be set off, the amount will be rounded up to the nearest integer. For avoidance of doubt, please refer to the below calculation of B in the illustration using DBS$ for reference:

5. Offer is only applicable to Cardholders whose Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period. If the status of a Cardholder’s Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholder from participating in the Promotion and/or enjoying the Offer.
6. A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
7. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse or non-compliance by the Cardholder, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the Offer from the Cardholder’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
8. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s decision is final.
9. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
