If Eligible Customers do not input the relevant Promo Code during enrolment in accordance to the Promo Code Table, Chubb Insurance Hong Kong Limited ("Chubb”) will not provide any discounts after the policy is issued. 4. Major Exclusions that apply to the HomeShield Insurance Plan include: war, terrorism, scratching, corrosion, wear and tear, mechanical or electrical breakdown, home unoccupied for more than 30 consecutive days, malicious damage or vandalism by a person residing lawfully in the home, loss or damage of contact or corneal lens, mobile or portable telephone, etc. For the detailed information such as exclusions, eligibility or coverage, please refer to the relevant policy provisions.5. The insured premises or building of HomeShield must be less than 40 years of age, for residential use, located in Hong Kong SAR, not be industrial or commercial buildings, not be a sub-divided home or sub-let property, not be a village house or the likes and not be situated on ground floor.6. The applicant of HomeShield Insurance and the DBS mortgage customer must be the same person, at least 18 years old, is a Hong Kong resident and never had any home insurance or personal property insurance policy be terminated, declined or renewal refused by insurance company or had special terms and conditions imposed in the past. 7. HomeShield Insurance will be renewed automatically for a further annual period upon the expiry date and the annual premium will be debited from the credit card provided. The renewal insurability is subject to the terms and conditions in the renewal notice and policy wording. If Eligible Customers do not wish to renew the policy, please notify Chubb upon receipt of the renewal notice, for details please refer to the renewal notice.8. The Offer can only be used once and is non-refundableand non-exchangeable.9. Unless otherwise specified, this Offer cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with any other discounts or rewards, except the 25% premium discount promotion.10. HomeShield Insurance Plan is underwritten by Chubb. Chubb reserves the right of final approval. The Bank is a licensed insurance agent (licence no.: FA3000) authorised by Chubb. The Bank will receive commissions and incentives from Chubb as remuneration for marketing Chubb's products. 11. The Bank distributes insurance products for Chubb and they are insurance products of Chubb but not the Bank. In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between the Bank and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, the Bank will enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer.12. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.13. DBS Chubb Insurance Service Hotline (Tel: (+852) 3191 6618) is a dedicated insurance customer services hotline established by Chubb for customers.14. The Bank may amend the terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Offer without notice. In the event of dispute, the Bank’s decision is final. 15. Under the Insurance Ordinance (Cap. 41), the Insurance Authority has started to collect levy on insurance premiums from policyholders through insurance companies from 1 January 2018.
