DBS Staff Exclusive “Flexi-Shopping Staff Promotion” Terms and Conditions:

  1. “Flexi-Shopping Staff Promotion” (“Promotion”) is only applicable to employees (“Staff”) of DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) who are principal cardholders of DBS Credit Card, DBS Co-branded Cards and DBS COMPASS VISA (excluding Business Card and Private Label Card) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by the Bank.
  2. The Promotion runs from 13 July 2018 to 31 August 2018, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
  3. Staff who apply for Flexi-Shopping Programme (“Flexi-Shopping”) via DBS Omni mobile application (“DBS Omni”) during the Promotion Period can enjoy full handling fee rebate for the first successful Flexi-Shopping application (“Eligible Flexi-Shopping Transaction”) made during the Promotion Period.
  4. Handling fee will be rebated to eligible Staff through InstaRedeem at the time the first instalment of the Eligible Flexi-Shopping Transaction (“First Instalment”) is charged to the Applicable Credit Card account. When the First Instalment is charged and displayed on Timeline of DBS Omni, eligible Staff will receive an InstaRedeem push notification with an amount equal to the one-off handling fee payable for the Eligible Flexi-Shopping Transaction (“Handling Fee InstaRedeem”). Eligible Staff can use Handling Fee InstaRedeem to set off the one-off handling fee payable for such Eligible Flexi-Shopping Transaction. If the handling fee is exceeded the first month instalment amount, the remaining rebate amount will be given into the next instalment. In order to receive Handling Fee InstaRedeem, InstaRedeem push notification of DBS Omni must be enabled.
  5. Handling Fee InstaRedeem must be used on or before 31 October 2018. Unused Handling Fee InstaRedeem will be forfeited. The Bank will not make any special arrangements and any forms of compensation.
  6. Since only cardholders who choose to participate in DBS$ Redemption Scheme are able to use the InstaRedeem function of DBS Omni, Staff who chose the DBS$ Cash Rebate Scheme or Staff who changed his/her spending reward to DBS$ Cash Rebate Scheme during the Promotion Period are not entitled to the Handling Fee InstaRedeem, the Bank will not make any special arrangements to rebate the handling fee to such Staff.
  7. Staff who successfully applied for Flexi-Shopping at least once during the Promotion Period is entitled to 1 lucky draw chance in the Flexi-Shopping Staff Promotion Lucky Draw (“Lucky Draw”). For the avoidance of doubt, each Staff is entitled to a maximum of 1 lucky draw chance in the Lucky Draw.
  8. The Lucky Draw will be held on 17 September 2018 and 1 winner will be drawn randomly by the computer system. The winner will be awarded with DBS$5,000 or $5,000 COMPASS Dollar (as the case may be) (the “Prize”). The Bank will deposit the Prize into the Staff’s Applicable Credit Card account within two weeks after the date of the Lucky Draw. The winner will be notified by internal email. If the winner holds more than one Applicable Credit Card account, the Bank may at its discretion credit the Prize to the account determined by the Bank as it deems appropriate.
  9. The Handling Fee InstaRedeem and/or the Prize is only applicable to Staff whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period and when the Handling Fee InstaRedeem and/or the Prize is issued. If the status of a Staff’s Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to stop issuing the Handling Fee InstaRedeem and/or the Prize to the relevant Staff.

  11. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse / non compliance by the Staff, failing which the Bank will debit the value of the Handling Fee InstaRedeem and/or the Prize from the Staff’s Applicable Credit Card account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  12. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
  13. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s decision is final.
