HK$50 “INSTAREDEEM” AMOUNT OFFER TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. The HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount offer is only available to applicants who have successfully applied to become the principal cardholder of DBS COMPASS VISA Platinum card issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) (“New Card”) by submitting the DBS COMPASS VISA Platinum Online Application Form (including but not limited to Tertiary Student DBS COMPASS VISA Platinum Application Form) (“Application Form”) to the Bank via the QR Code posted in HABITŪ caffè, HABITU, PUBIC, Plat du jour, Pacific Coffee and The Coffee Academïcs (“Designated Coffee Shops”) which is linked to the Bank’s website during the period from 1 January 2020 to 31 January 2020 (“Offer Period”) and all supporting documents required by the Bank within one month from the date of application.
  2. Unless otherwise specified, the HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount is only applicable to applicants who, during the New Card approval process have not applied for, do not currently hold, or in the 12 months prior to the date of application for the New Card, have not held and/or cancelled any principal credit cards (including co-branded cards and/or DBS COMPASS VISA) issued by the Bank (“New Customers”).
  3. Each New Customer can enjoy the HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount once during the Offer Period. For the avoidance of doubt, if New Customer has successfully applied for more than one New Card with the Bank by submitting multiple Application Forms to the Bank, he/she will only be entitled to redeem ONE HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount in respect of all applications submitted during the Offer Period.
  4. To enjoy the HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount, New Customer must download DBS Omni mobile application (“DBS Omni”), register and activate DBS Omni account within 1 month of the New Card issuance date.
  5. The HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount will be awarded to the eligible New Customers via the red “InstaRedeem” button of DBS Omni upon single spending with the New Card at Designated Coffee Shops of HK$50 or above and when the spending is displayed on Timeline of DBS Omni. The eligible New Customer can use the HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount received to off-set the amount payable for that transaction via the “InstaRedeem” function of DBS Omni. Transactions completed via e-Wallets (except Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay) will not be considered as spending for pushing of the red “InstaRedeem” button.
  6. In order to receive push notification, eligible New Customers must enable the “InstaRedeem” push notification of DBS Omni.
  7. If the eligible New Customer has not completed the transaction to enjoy the HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount within 3 months after the New Card was issued, he/she will be deemed to have forfeited the HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount. The Bank will not make any special arrangements and any forms of compensation.
  8. HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount cannot be used in conjunction with other “InstaRedeem” promotion offers (except “I Love Coffee Offer”) offered by the Bank and the merchants. Eligible New Customer can only enjoy other “InstaRedeem” promotion offers when he/she has enjoyed the HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount or when the HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount has been revoked.
  9. New Customers must keep the original receipt of the transactions. In case of disputes about the entitlement of HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount, the Bank reserves the right to require the New Customer to present the original receipt of the transactions for verification. If there is any discrepancy between the Bank’s record and New Customer’s receipt, the Bank’s record and determination shall be final and conclusive.
  10. A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
  11. Entitlement to HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount is subject to there being no abuse/non compliance by the New Customer, failing which the Bank will debit the value of the HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount from the New Customer’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  12. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the HK$50 “InstaRedeem” amount offer. The Bank’s decision is final.
  13. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
