Terms and Conditions of “Treasures Private Client Local Dining Spending Birthday Reward”

  1. Treasures Private Client Local Dining Spending Birthday Reward (the “Promotion”) is only available to principal cardholders of DBS Eminent Visa Signature Card (“Applicable Credit Card”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) who hold a valid DBS Treasures Private Client account ( “Customers”) with the Bank.
  2. The Promotion runs from 1 January 2018 to 30 June 2018 (“Promotion period”).
  3. To be eligible for the Promotion, Customers shall maintain Total Relationship Balance (as defined in Clause 4 below) of HK$8,000,000 or above (or its equivalent) in the calendar month of the Customer’s birthday.
  4. Total Relationship Balance is calculated by the total assets that a Customer maintained with the Bank, regardless it is solely or jointly owned by the Customer. The assets include deposits in Hong Kong dollar, Renminbi and Foreign currency deposits, Currency Linked Investment, market value of local and overseas securities, investment funds, bonds and other linked or structured investment products.
  5. A Customer who settles payment for any Local Dining Spending (as defined in Clause 7 below) with his/her Applicable Credit Card during the calendar month of the Customer’s birthday can enjoy the applicable reward as set out in the table below on the Local Dining Spending.
Customer who has registered for the “DBS Eminent Card Unlimited Rebate” program
Customer who has registered for the DBS$ Redemption Scheme DBS$2.5 for every HK$250 worth of Local Dining Spending
Customer who has registered for the DBS$ Cash Rebate Scheme HK$2.5 cash rebate for every HK$250 worth of Local Dining Spending
Customer who did not or has not yet registered for “DBS Eminent Card Unlimited Rebate” program
Customer who has registered for the DBS$ Redemption Scheme DBS$4 for every HK$250 worth of Local Dining Spending
Customer who has registered for the DBS$ Cash Rebate Scheme HK$4 cash rebate for every HK$250 worth of Local Dining Spending
  1. For the avoidance of doubt, Customers shall be able to enjoy the Promotion in conjunction with the DBS Eminent Card Unlimited Rebate program and/or the DBS$ Reward Scheme.
  2. “Local Dining Spending” means posted transaction conducted at restaurants in Hong Kong. Local Dining Spending excludes transactions on/at banquet services, private parties/functions, private room events, dining outlets in department stores, associations and clubhouses, transactions with merchants that are not classified as restaurants, and transactions that have been subject to cancellation, charge-back, and/or refund or any other categories of spending specified by the Bank from time to time. Whether Customer’s spending is classified as Local Dining Spending shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Bank.
  3. The amount of any Local Dining Spending conducted through any supplementary card under the Applicable Credit Card will be aggregated with that of the principal card account.
  4. When calculating the entitlement to DBS$, the amount of each Local Eligible Spending will be rounded down to the nearest integral and decimal places (if any) will not be counted.
  5. If a Customer changes his/her choice of DBS$ Redemption Scheme or DBS$ Cash Rebate Scheme under the DBS$ Reward Scheme, the Bank will credit the relevant rewards based on the Bank’s record at the time the rewards are calculated.
  6. The DBS$ or cash rebate rewarded under the Promotion will be credited to the Applicable Credit Card account of eligible Customers within 3 months after the last of Local Dining Spending is posted.
  7. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non-compliance by the Customers, failing which the Bank will debit the value of the reward from the Customer’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  8. The Bank may change these Term and Conditions and/or the Promotion without prior notice. The Bank has the final decision in case of dispute.
  9. The English version shall prevail if there is conflict between the English and Chinese version.
