General Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Promotion runs from 1 May 2018 to 30 June 2018 (“Promotion Period”).
  2. The Promotion is only applicable to customers of DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited 星展銀行（香港）有限公司 (the “Bank”) (“Customers”).
  3. The insurance plans herein are underwritten by Chubb Insurance Hong Kong Limited (“Chubb”). Chubb reserves the right of final approval to the insurance plan application. For the coverage and other details of the insurance plans, please refer to the relevant product materials and policy provisions.
  4. All discounts and rewards are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. The Bank can replace the rewards with alternative rewards without prior notice.
  5. The Bank and Chubb are not the suppliers of the Gifts (as defined in clause 16). The use of the Gifts is subject to terms and conditions imposed by the relevant suppliers whilst the redemption of the Gifts is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by Chubb. Any enquiry or complaint regarding the Gifts or the goods redeemed by/ service relating thereto should be directed to the suppliers. The Bank and Chubb shall assume no responsibility/ liability in respect thereof.
  6. All Gifts information, prices, and photos shown are for reference only. The suppliers’ information shall prevail.
  7. If Customers have cancelled the relevant insurance application and/or policies, the Gifts will be forfeited without notice.
  8. Customers cannot enjoy the Promotion together with any other offer.
  9. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non-compliance by the Customer failing which the Bank will debit the equivalent value of the reward given from the Customer’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  10. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify/terminate the Promotion without notice. The Bank’s decision is final.
  11. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
  12. The Bank is an insurance agent authorised by Chubb. The Bank will receive commissions and incentives from Chubb as remuneration for marketing Chubb's products.
  13. Chubb has the sole discretion in determining Customers’ eligibility to the Promotion.
  14. DBS Chubb Insurance Service Hotline (Tel: 3191 6618) is a dedicated Insurance Customer Services Hotline for the Customers.

Specific Terms and Conditions:

  1. Premium Discount Offer
    Customers who successfully apply for any of the following insurance products (“General Insurance Plans”) through the Bank’s website or DBS Chubb Insurance Service Hotline at 3191 6618 during the Promotion Period shall be eligible for a discount on the relevant premium payable:
    1. TravellerShield Single Trip Travel Insurance– 45% discount on the premium;
    2. TravellerShield Annual Travel Insurance – 40% discount on the first-year premium;
    3. HomeShield Insurance – 25% discount on the first-year premium;
    4. LandlordShield Insurance – 25% discount on the first-year premium;
    5. MasterShield Illness Protection – 25% discount on the first-year premium;
    6. JuniorShield Child Illness Protection – 25% discount on the first-year premium;
    7. MyShield Hospital Cash Plan – 25% discount on the first-year premium
  2. Gifts
    Customers who successfully apply for the following General Insurance Plans during the Promotion Period shall be eligible for the respective gifts (“Gifts”) below:
    1. Free Häagen-Dazs Single Scoop Ice Cream e-Voucher (“e-Voucher”)
      1. One e-Voucher per insured person in the policy will be given for any TravellerShield Single Trip Travel Insurance Plan subscribed through the Bank’s website.
      2. The e-Voucher will be emailed to the eligible Customer’s email address (as provided in the online application) within 14 working days from the day when the eligible Customer purchased the TravellerShield Single Trip Travel Insurance Plan successfully.
    2. Lady M HK$300 Voucher (“Lady M Voucher”)
      1. Two Lady M Vouchers of HK$150 each will be given for any TravellerShield Annual Travel Insurance Gold Plan subscribed through the Bank’s website.
      2. The Voucher will be mailed to the eligible Customer’s correspondence address (as provided in the online application) within 1 month from the day when the eligible Customer subscribed the TravellerShield Annual Travel Insurance Gold Plan successfully.
    3. HKTVMall $100 e-Voucher (“HKTVMall e-Voucher”)
      1. One HKTVMall e-Voucher per policy will be given for any HomeShield Insurance Plan or LandlordShield Insurance Plan subscribed through the Bank’s website.
      2. The HKTVMall e-Voucher will be emailed to the eligible Customer’s email address (as provided in the online application) within 1 month from the day when the eligible Customer purchased the HomeShield Insurance Plan or LandlordShield Insurance Plan successfully.
    4. Preferential rate on FastCheck POC® 20
      1. Customers who successfully subscribed JuniorShield Child Illness Protection Plan through the Bank’s website shall be eligible for a FastCheck POC® 20 at Hello Kitty Health Center at a preferential rate of HK$1,280 for each insured child in the policy.
      2. A notification email for making reservation for FastCheck POC® 20 from Chubb (“Notification Email”) will be sent to the eligible Customer’s email address (as provided in the online application) within 7 working days from the day when the eligible Customer subscribed the JuniorShield Child Illness Protection Plan successfully.
      3. In order to enjoy FastCheck POC® 20 at the Hello Kitty Health Center at preferential rate, eligible Customer is required to make reservation in advance and provide the policy number on the day of health check at Hello Kitty Health Center for verification purpose.
