“DBS Omni Octopus Card AAVS Offer - HK$50 InstaRedeem Reward” Promotion Terms and Conditions:

  1. “DBS Omni Octopus Card AAVS Offer - HK$50 InstaRedeem Reward” (“Promotion”) is only available to applicants who have successfully applied to become the principal cardholder (“Cardholder”) of DBS Credit Card and Co-branded Cards (excluding Business Card and Private Label Card) (“Applicable Credit Card”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) during the period from 1 April 2020 to 30 June 2020. Cardholders cannot transfer their eligibility to others.
  2.  Cardholder must be a new customer to be eligible to participate in the Promotion. New customer means during the Applicable Credit Card approval process have not applied for, do not currently hold, or in the 12 months prior to the date of application for the Applicable Credit Card, have not held and/or cancelled any principal credit cards (including co-branded cards and/or DBS COMPASS VISA) issued by the Bank.
  3. The first 5,000 Cardholders who fulfill all of the following conditions can receive an InstaRedeem amount of HK$50 (“Reward”) :
    4. a. Successfully set up Octopus Automatic Add-value Service (“AAVS”) with the Applicable Credit Card from 1 April 2020 to 31 July 2020; and
    b. Perform at least one AAVS auto-reload transaction by the Applicable Credit Card ("Eligible Transactions") from 1 September 2020 to 31 October 2020 (“Valid Reload Period”).
  4. Reward will be granted in the form of “InstaRedeem”. Once the first Eligible Transaction has been conducted within the Valid Reload Period and is shown on DBS Omni's  Timeline function, Cardholder may deduct HK$50 from the payable amount of the Eligible Transaction via a Red “InstaRedeem” button appeared on that transaction in Timeline. The Reward must be enjoyed on or before 31 October 2020, otherwise the Reward will be discarded and will not be reissued.
  5. To enjoy the Reward, Cardholders are required to turn on the notification in the menu of DBS Omni by choosing Setting > Push Notification > “InstaRedeem”.
  6. Each Cardholder can only be rewarded once for the Reward in the Promotion.
  7. Reward is only applicable to Cardholder whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Valid Reload Period. If the status of Cardholder's Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholder from enjoying the Reward.
  8. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse / non compliance by the Cardholder, failing which the Bank will debit the value of the Reward from the Cardholder's account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  9. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank's decision is final.
  10. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
