“COMPASS Visa Super Wednesday Local Supermarket Spending 8% off InstaRedeem offer” Terms and Conditions

1. “COMPASS Visa Super Wednesday Local Supermarket Spending 8% off InstaRedeem offer” (“Promotion”) is applicable to the principal cardholders (“Cardholders”) of DBS COMPASS VISA (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”). This Promotion is not applicable to supplementary cardholders.
2. The promotion period for this Promotion is every Wednesday from 7 September 2022 to 28 September 2022, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).

3. Upon a single net spending of HK$250 or above in Hong Kong dollars with the Applicable Credit Card on every Wednesday during the Promotion Period at physical or online store of local supermarkets ("Eligible Transaction"), Cardholders shall be entitled to 8% deduction (“Offer”) from the payable amount for that Eligible Transaction through the Red "InstaRedeem" button revealed on that transaction after the transaction is posted and displayed in Timeline of DBS Card+ mobile application (“DBS Card+”). Maximum deduction is HK$50 per transaction. Each DBS Card+ user can enjoy the Offer once per week during the Promotion Period. However, there is a quota on the total number of Offer of this promotion, the Offer is only applicable to the first 60,000 completed Eligible Transactions during the Promotion Period and it is based on the time when clicking the InstaRedeem button to enjoy the Offer. The Offer is available on a first-come first-served basis until the quota is full. Quota full message will be shown on the DBS Card+ > Marketing Offers > promotion page if quota of the Offer is full
4. Offer is applicable for Eligible Transaction made at the physical or online store of local supermarkets only. The definition of physical or online store of local supermarkets refers to the merchant codes and transaction types as defined by VISA or a merchant's acquiring, and is determined by the Bank at its sole discretion. Examples include the following merchants:
   • C!ty'super
   • DON DON DONKI
   • foodpanda mall & pandamart
   • HKTV Mall
   • Marks and Spencer Food
   • PARKnSHOP Supermarket (including fusion, Taste etc.)
   • U Select Supermarket
   • Watsons
   • Wellcome (including Market Place, 3hreeSixty etc.)
   • YATA Supermarket

   In case of any disputes on the definition of physical or online store of local supermarket merchants, it will be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion. the Bank reserves the right of final decision.

5. To be eligible to enjoy the Offer, Cardholders are required to install the DBS Card+, complete the registration of DBS Card+ account, and turn on the notification in the menu of DBS Card+ by clicking "More" icon, then choose "App & Security Settings" > "Push Notifications" > turn on "InstaRedeem" to receive notifications before conducting any Eligible Transactions. Cardholders must enjoy the Offer by 15 October 2022 23:59 (HKT); otherwise, it will be considered as giving up the Offer on its own. The time for posting of Eligible Transaction and displaying the transaction on DBS Card+ Timeline will be depended on the merchant category, payment processing time of merchant or payment gateway
6. For the avoidance of doubt, the following types of transactions shall not be considered as Eligible Transactions:
   1. Any transactions that are subject to cancellation, charge-back, return of goods and/or refund,
   2. Any autopay, installment, unposted transactions, or bill payment transactions of any other means as specified by the Bank from time to time;
   3. All payments via e-Wallet (except for Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay), reloads of e-Wallet or Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service;
   4. Any other type of transaction as determined by the Bank from time to time.
7. The Offer of this Promotion cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with other “InstaRedeem” promotion offers offered by the Bank and the merchants. If Cardholder’s spending meets the requirements of other "InstaRedeem" promotion offer at the same time, the Bank has the right to determine which offer to be awarded in respect of that spending. When the spending has already been awarded under the Offer of this Promotion, the same spending cannot be awarded again under other "InstaRedeem" promotions and vice versa. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right of final decision.
8. The Offer is only applicable to Cardholders whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period and when the Offer is issued. If the status of a Cardholder’s Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholder from participating in the Promotion and/or enjoying the Offer.
9. The Offer entitled by Cardholders shall be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion based on the Bank’s record. Cardholders must retain the original transaction slips of any transactions. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to require Cardholders to submit the relevant original transaction slips, other documents or evidence for verification. The submitted transaction slips, documents and/or evidence will not be returned. If there is any discrepancy between the Bank’s record and Cardholder’s record of any transaction, the Bank’s record shall prevail.
10. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse or non-compliance by the Cardholder, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the Offer from the Cardholder’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
11. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s decision is final.
12. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
