General Terms and Conditions for DBS Credit Card Offers

  1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion offers published in this webpage ("Offers") are only applicable to the cardholders of DBS Credit Cards, DBS Co-branded Cards and DBS COMPASS VISA (excluding Business Card and Private Label Card) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) (“Cardholders”).
  2. To enjoy the Offers, Cardholders are required to settle payment with the Applicable Credit Cards.
  3. For Cardholders holding DBS Black American Express® Card, Offers are applicable to them only at merchants’ outlets (either physical or online) accepting American Express® Card for payment.
  4. Certain Offers are not valid on public holidays, eves of public holidays, festive days, eves of festive days and black-out days as designated by the merchants. Please contact the respective merchants for details.
  5. Cardholders should confirm the Offers with the respective merchants before payment. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers are only applicable to the respective merchant outlets in Hong Kong.
  6. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers are applicable to regular-priced items only and not applicable to fixed-priced, discounted, consignment, promotional, festive and designated items/services. The Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers or discounts, coupons or membership offers.
  7. Advance appointment with mentioning of using the Offers during reservation may be required for specific merchants. Please call the respective merchants for details in advance.
  8. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers related to dining are not applicable to take-away items, set menu, discounted dishes, room services, meetings, private functions, banquets, catering services, happy hours, charge for tea and condiments and 10% service charge.
  9. All products and services are subject to availability while stocks last.
  10. The prices of all products and services published in this webpage are for reference only. No notice will be made should there be any changes.
  11. The Bank is not the supplier of the products/services or the description, photos or reference prices (if any) in relation to the products/services published in this webpage (which are intended to be for reference only). Any enquiry, claim or complaint in relation to the quality or availability of the products/services or the accuracy of any of the aforementioned information contained in this webpage shall be directed to the relevant merchants. The Bank shall assume no liability in respect thereof.
  12. The Bank will not accept any liability for any loss incurred by Cardholders should the respective merchants refuse to provide the Offers.
  13. Besides these terms and conditions, each Offer is subject to specific terms and conditions applicable to it.
  14. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
  15. The Bank and the respective merchants may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Offers. The Bank’s and the respective merchant’s decision are final.
  16. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.

 

“Klook InstaRedeem 20% off Promotion” Terms and Conditions

  1. “Klook InstaRedeem 20% off Promotion” (the “Promotion”) runs from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022 (“Promotion Period”).
  2. The Promotion is applicable to the principal cardholders (“Principal Cardholders”) of DBS Credit Card and Co-branded Cards (excluding Private Label Card and Business Card) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank"). The Promotion is applicable to Applicable Credit Cards that have enrolled the COMPASS CARD Reward Scheme or the DBS$ Redemption Scheme under the DBS$ Reward Scheme.
  3. To be eligible to enjoy the offer of this Promotion, Principal Cardholders are required to fulfill all the following requirements:
    1. Install the DBS Card+ mobile application (“DBS Card+”) and complete the registration of DBS Card+ account, and turn on the notification in DBS Card+ More > App & Security Settings > Push Notification > “InstaRedeem” before conducting any Eligible Transaction for participating in the Promotion. Cardholders who have already registered DBS Card+ do not need to register again. Principal Cardholders who have already registered DBS Card+ do not need to register again;
    2. Register Klook (“Klook”) account at Klook HK website (https://www.klook.com/en-HK/) or its mobile application. Principal Cardholders who already have Klook accounts do not need to register again;
    3. Login Klook account to make a booking at Klook and settle payment via Applicable Credit Cards (the payment has to be made directly with Applicable Credit Cards; payment made via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, Alipay HK or others e-wallet is not applicable to this Promotion); and
    4. Register “InstaRedeem” function by following the instruction at Klook web page right after the transaction is made at Klook. Each Applicable Credit Card needs to be registered “InstaRedeem” function only once per Klook account.
  4. Eligible Principal Cardholders shall be entitled to offset the spending on Klook at the rate of DBS$1 / $1 COMPASS Dollar to HK$1.25 (equivalent to 20% off) (“Offer”) via “InstaRedeem” during the Promotion Period.
  5. After an eligible Principal Cardholder has made a transaction and successfully registered the “InstaRedeem” function, he/she will receive an “InstaRedeem” notification at Klook to enjoy the Offer. If Principal Cardholders redeem the Offer via “InstaRedeem” at Klook, the Offer must be redeemed according to the instruction and click “Offset Now” at Klook web page or its mobile application right after the payment is made.
  6. If Principal Cardholders redeem the Offer via “InstaRedeem” at DBS Card+, Principal Cardholders can redeem the Offer through the Red "InstaRedeem" button revealed on the Eligible Transaction after the transaction is posted and displayed in Timeline of DBS Card+, Principal Cardholders can use the “InstaRedeem” amount received to set off the amount payable for that transaction via the “InstaRedeem” function of DBS Card+. The Offer must be used on or before 14 January 2023 after spending, otherwise it will be considered as giving up the Offer.
  7. Since DBS$ / COMPASS Dollar is in integral, if a Cardholder would like to fully set off the amount payable, the Bank will first round down the required DBS$ / COMPASS Dollar to the nearest integer, then convert it into HK$ amount at the rate of DBS$1 / $1 COMPASS Dollar to HK$1.25. For avoidance of doubt, please refer to the below calculation of B and C in the illustration using DBS$ / COMPASS Dollar for reference:

    * After the adjustment of decimal places, under certain circumstances, Principal Cardholders may not be able to fully set off the amount payable.

  8. Besides fully set off the amount payable, Principal Cardholders can also choose to use DBS$ / COMPASS Dollar to set off part of it.
  9. Offer is subject to quota and is on a first-come, first-served basis according to the time record of the transaction. When the quota is full, the Offer will no longer be available.
  10. The “InstaRedeem” offer of this Promotion cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with other “InstaRedeem” promotion offers offered by the Bank and the merchants. If the spending of Principal Cardholders made via Klook website (https://www.klook.com/en-HK/) or its mobile application during the Promotion Period meets the requirements of more than one "InstaRedeem" promotion at the same time for receiving rewards, the Bank may determine the order of issuing "InstaRedeem" rewards; when that spending has already been awarded in one of the "InstaRedeem" promotions, that spending cannot be awarded again from other "InstaRedeem" promotions. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right of final decision.
  11. Offer is only applicable to Principal Cardholders whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period and when the Offer is issued. If the status of a Cardholder’s Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholder from participating in the Promotion and/or enjoying the Offer.
  12. The Bank has absolute discretion to determine the validity of a transaction and the eligibility of the Offer based on the details (including time and date) of the relevant transaction in the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the transaction record of a Cardholder and that of the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive.
  13. If there is abuse/non-compliance by the Cardholder in this Promotion, he/she cannot enjoy the Offer. The Bank will not offset the spending or where the offsetting has been effected, the Bank may debit the value from the Cardholder's account(s) without prior notice and/or take action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  14. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. In case of any dispute, the Bank reserve the right of final decision.
  15. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
