“DBS x AlipayHK Taobao 618 Limited-time Offer” Terms and Conditions

1. DBS x AlipayHK Taobao 618 Limited-time Offer (“Promotion”) is only applicable to principal and supplementary cardholders of DBS Credit Cards and Co-branded Cards (excluding Private Label Cards, Business Cards and DBS Black American Express^® Card) (“Applicable Credit Card(s)”) or primary account holders of DBS Bank Accounts (“Applicable Bank Account(s)”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) ("Eligible Users").
2. “Applicable Bank Accounts” refer to “DBS Treasures Account”, “DBS Account” and “DBS Treasures Private Client Account” of the Bank. “DBS Treasures”, “DBS Account” and “DBS Treasures Private Client” are customer segments of the Bank.
3. The promotion period is from 00:00:00 16 June 2021 to 23:59:59 June 20 2021 (Hong Kong Time) (“Promotion Period”).
4. During the Promotion Period, Eligible Users are entitled to an instant discount of HK$40 upon making a single net spending of HK$400 or above at Taobao (as defined in Clause 5) (“Offer”) with an Applicable Bank Account or Applicable Credit Card via the AlipayHK mobile application (“AlipayHK App”) (“Eligible Transaction”). The amount of single net spending (as defined in Clause 7) shall be determined based on the real-time exchange rate in the AlipayHK system at the time of the transaction. The “Currency” tool in the AlipayHK App is for reference only.
5. “Taobao” refers to the Taobao mobile application for the purposes of this Promotion.
6. Eligible Users are required to successfully bind their Applicable Bank Account(s) or Applicable Credit Card(s) to their AlipayHK accounts in the AlipayHK App and make an Eligible Transaction during the Promotion Period in order to enjoy the Offer.
7. A "single net spending” refers to the final posted net purchase amount made with an Applicable Bank Account or an Applicable Credit Card at Taobao in a single transaction during the Promotion Period (based on transaction dates). The Offer may be used in conjunction with red packets, merchant discounts, shopping rewards, etc. on Taobao, subject to the actual payment page which shall prevail.
8. Offer is limited to the first 13,500 Eligible Transactions completed by Applicable Credit Cards and the first 500 Eligible Transactions completed by Applicable Bank Accounts. Offer is on a first-come, first serve basis and will be available until quota lasts. AlipayHK’s records shall prevail under any circumstances.
9. For the avoidance of doubt, the Offer is not applicable in the following circumstances on Taobao: Tmall Hong Kong order, non-mobile app paying order, Taobao (Xianyu)’s order, virtual goods (including but not limited to anything that does not require shipment such as virtual currency, prepaid cards, etc.), or any other circumstances as specified by Taobao.
10. During the Promotion Period, each Eligible User can enjoy the Offer once with Applicable Credit Card and once with Applicable Bank Account only. For the avoidance of doubt, “each Eligible User” refers to a natural person with legal capacity who uses the AlipayHK App and Wallet service, but not merely an AlipayHK account. To further avoid any dispute, in the following circumstances, the relevant accounts will be deemed to be used by the same user and can only participate in this promotion once:
    1. Connection on the same mobile phone or mobile device, such as the logging in or activation of multiple accounts; or
    2. Connection of an AlipayHK account or mobile number on multiple mobile phones or mobile devices, such as the logging in or activation on such devices; or
    3. The same bank card / credit card number being connected to multiple AlipayHK accounts.

    In the case of any of the above, in order to verify the Eligible User’s identity and prevent the risk of theft or misuse of such AlipayHK account, mobile phone number, mobile device or bank card / credit card number, AlipayHK reserves the right to suspend or terminate the release of the Offer to the relevant account and to take legal action.

11. If there is any breach of these terms and conditions or illegal, fraudulent or abusive behavior during the use of any Offer, or if any user commits any act affecting other users’ ability to participate in the Promotion fairly, AlipayHK will forfeit such user’s Offer and the entitlement of Offer forthwith without notice, and reserves the right to cancel such transaction and to take legal action against the relevant user.
12. The Offer is not exchangeable for cash or other items and is non-transferable. For goods return or refund, the amount on the Offer will not be returned and the Offer will not be re-issued.
13. AlipayHK, Taobao and the Bank will carry out this Promotion in accordance with applicable laws. In the event this Promotion is stopped by government agency’s orders or must be suspended due to server network attack or system failure or any circumstances beyond AlipayHK, Taobao and/or the Bank’s control, such event shall be regarded as a force majeure event and AlipayHK, Taobao and the Bank shall not be held liable for any damage, loss or dispute therein.
14. The sellers and merchants on Taobao shall take the responsibility of selling procedures and after-sales services. AlipayHK, Taobao and the Bank do not participate in the selling procedures and shall not be held liable or construed as providing any guarantee as to the quality and availability of the products and/or service provided by such sellers and merchants on Taobao.
15. AlipayHK and the Bank reserve the right to change, suspend or terminate the promotion or its terms and conditions at its sole discretion without prior notice. AlipayHK and the Bank shall not be liable for such change, suspension or termination and reserve the right of final decision of all the matters and disputes.
16. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
17. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

“DBS Card x AlipayHK New Users InstaRedeem Offer” Terms and Conditions

1. “DBS Credit Card x AlipayHK New Users InstaRedeem Offer” (“Promotion”) is applicable to the principal cardholders (“Cardholders”) of DBS Credit Cards and Co-branded Cards (excluding Private Label Cards and Business Cards) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”). This Promotion is not applicable to supplementary and DBS Black American Express^® Card Cardholders.
2. The promotion period is from June 16, 2021 00:00 to June 20, 2021 23:59:59 (Hong Kong Time) (“Promotion Period”).
3. Cardholders who do not have any transactions via AlipayHK Moblie Application (“AlipayHK App”) with Applicable Credit Cards in the last 12 months before the Promotion Period and conduct a single net spending of HK$400 or above at Taobao (including but not limited Taobao or Tmall shopping platform) (“Taobao Platforms”) via AlipayHK App in Promotion Period (“Eligible Transaction”) will be entitled to below offer (“Offer”):
   • A HK$20 deduction from the payable amount for that Eligible Transaction through the Red "InstaRedeem" button revealed on that Eligible Transaction after the transaction is posted and displayed in Timeline of DBS Card+ mobile application (“DBS Card+”). Each Card+ account can enjoy the Offer once during the Promotion Period.
4. To enjoy the Offer, Cardholders are required to install the DBS Card+ mobile application and complete registration for an DBS Card+ account, and turn on the notification in DBS Card+ setting > Push Notification > “InstaRedeem” before conducting any Eligible Transaction for participating in the Promotion. Cardholders must enjoy the Offer by 4 July 2021 23:59 (Hong Kong Time); otherwise, it is considered as giving up the Offer on its own. The time for posting of transaction and displaying the transaction on DBS Card+ Timeline will be depended on the merchant category, payment processing time of merchant or payment gateway.
5. For the avoidance of doubt, the following types of transactions shall not be considered as Eligible Transactions:
   1. Any transactions that are subject to cancellation, charge-back, return of goods and/or refund;
   2. Any autopay, installment, unposted transactions, bill payment transactions or any other means as specified by the Bank from time to time;
   3. All reloads of e-Wallets;
   4. Any other type of transaction as determined by the Bank from time to time.
6. The Offer is only applicable to Cardholders whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period and when the Offer is issued. If the status of a Cardholder’s Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholder from enjoying the Offer.
7. The Offer entitled by Cardholders shall be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion based on the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the record held by Cardholders and that held by the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive and binding on the Cardholders.
8. Cardholders must retain the original transaction slips of any transactions. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to require Cardholders to submit the relevant original transaction slips, other documents and/or evidence for verification. The submitted transaction slips, documents and/or evidence will not be returned. If there is any discrepancy between the Bank’s record and Cardholder’s record of any transaction, the Bank’s record shall prevail.
9. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non compliance by Cardholder, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the Offer from Cardholder’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
10. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s decision is final.
11. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.

 

General Terms and Conditions for DBS Credit Card Offers

1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion offers published in this webpage ("Offers") are only applicable to the cardholders of DBS Credit Cards and Co-branded Cards and DBS COMPASS VISA (excluding Business Card and Private Label Card) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) (“Cardholders”).
2. To enjoy the Offers, Cardholders are required to settle payment with the Applicable Credit Cards.
3. For Cardholders holding DBS Black American Express^® Card, Offers are applicable to them only at merchants’ outlets (either physical or online) accepting American Express^® Card for payment.
4. Certain Offers are not valid on public holidays, eves of public holidays, festive days, eves of festive days and black-out days as designated by the merchants. Please contact the respective merchants for details.
5. Cardholders should confirm the Offers with the respective merchants before payment. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers are only applicable to the respective merchant outlets in Hong Kong.
6. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers are applicable to regular-priced items only and not applicable to fixed-priced, discounted, consignment, promotional, festive and designated items/services. The Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers or discounts, coupons or membership offers.
7. Advance appointment with mentioning of using the Offers during reservation may be required for specific merchants. Please call the respective merchants for details in advance.
8. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers related to dining are not applicable to take-away items, set menu, discounted dishes, room services, meetings, private functions, banquets, catering services, happy hours, charge for tea and condiments and 10% service charge.
9. All products and services are subject to availability while stocks last.
10. The prices of all products and services published in this webpage are for reference only. No notice will be made should there be any changes.
11. The Bank is not the supplier of the products/services or the description, photos or reference prices (if any) in relation to the products/services published in this webpage (which are intended to be for reference only). Any enquiry, claim or complaint in relation to the quality or availability of the products/services or the accuracy of any of the aforementioned information contained in this webpage shall be directed to the relevant merchants. The Bank shall assume no liability in respect thereof.
12. The Bank will not accept any liability for any loss incurred by Cardholders should the respective merchants refuse to provide the Offers.
13. Besides these terms and conditions, each Offer is subject to specific terms and conditions applicable to it.
14. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
15. The Bank and the respective merchants may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Offers. The Bank’s and the respective merchant’s decision are final.
16. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
