DBS Credit Card “HKTaxi 5 Rides and Get 1 Free Offer” Terms and Conditions

1. DBS Credit Card “HKTaxi 5 Rides and Get 1 Free Offer” (the “Promotion”) is only applicable to the principal cardholders (“Principal Cardholders”) of DBS Credit Card and Co-branded Cards (excluding Private Label Card and Business Card) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank").
2. The promotion period is from 1 February 2021 to 30 June 2021, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
3. To be eligible to enjoy the offer of this Promotion, Cardholders are required to fulfill all the following requirements:
   1. Install the DBS Card+ mobile application (“DBS Card+”), register for a DBS Card+ account, and enable the “InstaRedeem” push notification in the setting of DBS Card+;
   2. Install HKTaxi mobile application (“HKTaxi”) and add the principal card of Applicable Credit Card to HKTaxi for payment;
   3. Register “InstaRedeem” function at HKTaxi with the added Applicable Credit Card; and
   4. Reserve taxi or select “Pay for Street-Hail” via HKTaxi and settle payment via the added Applicable Credit Card after the ride (payment made via Apple Pay or Google Pay is not applicable to this Promotion).
4. After completing the steps set out at Clause 3 above, Cardholders who complete a single transaction of HK$30 or above ("Eligible Transaction") at HKTaxi with the Applicable Credit Card during the Promotion Period will receive 1 stamp. The stamp will be displayed on the Timeline of DBS Card+. For every 5 stamps collected by the Cardholder, the next Eligible Transaction completed at HKTaxi with the Applicable Credit Card shall be entitled to offset HK$30 “InstaRedeem” amount (“Offer”) for that spending. Cardholders must click “OK” on the Payment Success page after paying the taxi fare to receive the “InstaRedeem” notification at HKTaxi to enjoy the Offer.
5. Cardholder will only be awarded 1 stamp per day.
6. Each DBS Card+ user can enjoy the Offer 20 times during the Promotion Period.
7. Offer must be redeemed at HKTaxi on or before 14 July 2021 after spending, otherwise it will be considered as being forfeited.
8. Offer is subject to quota and is on a first-come, first-served basis according to the time record of the taxi fare transaction. The Bank will no longer issue any stamp when the quota is full and quota full message will be shown on DBS Website (go.dbs.com/hk-hktaxi).
9. The Offer of this Promotion cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with the offer of other InstaRedeem promotions of the Bank. If Cardholder's Eligible Transaction has already been rewarded in other InstaRedeem promotion, he/she can no longer receive the Offer from this Promotion. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right of final decision.
10. The Bank has absolute discretion to determine the validity of a transaction and the eligibility of the Offer based on the details (including time and date) of the relevant transaction in the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the transaction record of a Cardholder and that of the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive.
11. Offer is only applicable to Cardholders whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period. If the status of a Cardholder’s Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholder from participating in the Promotion and/or enjoying the Offer.
12. If there is abuse/non-compliance by the Cardholder in this Promotion, he/she cannot enjoy the Offer. The Bank will not offset the spending or where the offsetting has been effected, the Bank may debit the value from the Cardholder's account(s) without prior notice and/or take action to recover any outstanding amounts.
13. The Bank and HKTaxi App Limited may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. In case of any dispute, the Bank and HKTaxi reserves the right of final decision.
14. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.

 

“DBS Black World Mastercard x HKTaxi InstaRedeem Promotion” Terms and Conditions

1. “DBS Black World Mastercard x HKTaxi InstaRedeem Promotion” (the “Promotion”) runs from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2021 (“Promotion Period”).
2. The Promotion is applicable to the principal cardholders (“Cardholders”) of DBS Black World Mastercard (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank") who have enrolled the DBS$ Redemption Scheme under the DBS$ Reward Scheme.
3. To be eligible to enjoy the offer of this Promotion, Cardholders are required to fulfill all the following requirements:
   1. Install the DBS Card+ mobile application (“DBS Card+”), register for a DBS Card+ account, and enable the “InstaRedeem” push notification in the setting of DBS Card+;
   2. Install HKTaxi mobile application (“HKTaxi”) and add Applicable Credit Card to HKTaxi for payment;
   3. Register “InstaRedeem” function at HKTaxi with the added Applicable Credit Card; and
   4. Reserve taxi via HKTaxi and settle payment via the added Applicable Credit Card after the ride (payment made via Apple Pay or Google Pay is not applicable to this Promotion).
4. Eligible Cardholders shall be entitled to offset the spending at the rate of DBS$1 to HK$1.25 (equivalent to 20% off) (“Offer”) for taxi fare spending at HKTaxi during the Promotion Period.
5. Eligible Cardholders must click “OK” on the Payment Success page after paying the taxi fare to receive the “InstaRedeem” notification at HKTaxi to enjoy the Offer.
6. Offer must be redeemed on or before 14 July 2021 after spending, otherwise it will be considered as being forfeited.
7. Since DBS$ is in integral, if a Cardholder would like to fully set off the amount payable for taxi fare, the Bank will first round down the required DBS$ to the nearest integer, then convert it into HK$ amount at the rate of DBS$1 to HK$1.25. If the converted HK$ amount has decimal places, the Bank will round up the amount to the nearest integer and credit the amount into the Applicable Credit Card account. For avoidance of doubt, please refer to the below calculation of B and C in the illustration using DBS$ for reference:

   * After the adjustment of decimal places, under certain circumstances, Cardholders may not be able to fully set off the amount payable for the taxi fare.

8. Besides fully set off the amount payable for taxi fare, Cardholders can also choose to use DBS$ to set off part of it. In calculating the HK$ amount that can be set off, the amount will be rounded up to the nearest integer. For avoidance of doubt, please refer to the below calculation of B and C in the illustration using DBS$ for reference:

9. Offer is subject to quota and is on a first-come, first-served basis according to the time record of the taxi fare transaction. When the quota is full, the Offer will no longer be available.
10. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other “InstaRedeem” promotion offers offered by the Bank and HKTaxi. If the taxi fare spending at HKTaxi is eligible to enjoy the 5 Rides and Get 1 Free Offer (as defined in the “DBS Credit Card “HKTaxi 5 Rides and Get 1 Free Offer”” Terms and Conditions) under “DBS Credit Card “HKTaxi 5 Rides and Get 1 Free Offer””, 5 Rides and Get 1 Free Offer will be automatically granted to the Cardholders and the Cardholder cannot enjoy this Offer for the said transaction at the same time.
11. The Offer of this Promotion cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with the offer of other InstaRedeem promotions of the Bank. If Cardholder's Eligible Transaction has already been rewarded in other InstaRedeem promotion, he/she can no longer receive the Offer from this Promotion. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right of final decision.

“DBS Mastercard^® x HKTaxi Pay for Street-hail” Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. "DBS Mastercard x HKTaxi Pay for Street-hail”Promotion ("Promotion") is only applicable to the principal and supplementary cardholders (“Cardholders”) of DBS Mastercard (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank").
2. The "Promotion Period" runs from 22 February to 30 April, 2021, both dates inclusive.
3. During the Promotion Period, Cardholders who complete the first Pay for Street-hail transaction with a single spending HK$50 or above via Pay for Street-hail function at HKTaxi and settle the payment via the Applicable Credit Cards (“Eligible Transaction”) shall be entitled to redeem a HK$50 Coupon (“Coupon”) and enjoy a deduction of HK$50 from the total payable amount (“Offer”).
4. To enjoy the Offer, Cardholders have to select the Coupon and settle the Eligible Transaction with Applicable Credit Cards during the process of Pay for Street-hail at HKTaxi.
5. Offer is applicable to HKTaxi app (“HKTaxi”) user only. The Coupon is sent to each HKTaxi user’s account on 22 February 2021.
6. Each HKTaxi user can enjoy the Coupon once only.
7. The Coupon will be forfeited automatically upon the end of the Promotion Period, Cardholders have enjoyed another first Pay for Street-hail Coupon offer or when the quota for the Offer is full during the Promotion Period.
8. Only one Coupon can be used per Eligible Transaction.
9. The Offer cannot be exchanged for cash/service, other products, or discounts.
10. The Offer is with quota and will be served in first come first served basis according to the time record of Coupon redemption from HKTaxi App Limited. The Coupon will become invalid automatically when quota is full.
11. Unless otherwise specified, Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other HKTaxi offers.
12. Time and validity of any transactions and/or eligibility of a Cardholder to the Offers shall be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion based on the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the record of transaction held by a Cardholder and that held by the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive and binding on the Cardholder.
13. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non compliance by the Cardholder, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the Offers from the Cardholder’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
14. The Bank and the Merchant may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s and the Merchant’s decision are final.
15. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.

 

General Terms and Conditions for DBS Credit Card Offers

1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion offers published in this webpage ("Offers") are only applicable to the cardholders of DBS Credit Cards, DBS Co-branded Cards and DBS COMPASS VISA (excluding Business Card and Private Label Card) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) (“Cardholders”).
2. To enjoy the Offers, Cardholders are required to settle payment with the Applicable Credit Cards.
3. For Cardholders holding DBS Black American Express^® Card, Offers are applicable to them only at merchants’ outlets (either physical or online) accepting American Express^® Card for payment.
4. Certain Offers are not valid on public holidays, eves of public holidays, festive days, eves of festive days and black-out days as designated by the merchants. Please contact the respective merchants for details.
5. Cardholders should confirm the Offers with the respective merchants before payment. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers are only applicable to the respective merchant outlets in Hong Kong.
6. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers are applicable to regular-priced items only and not applicable to fixed-priced, discounted, consignment, promotional, festive and designated items/services.
