“Taobao Member Day Omni InstaRedeem Up to HK$40 Deduction” Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. The “Taobao Member Day Omni InstaRedeem Up to HK$40 Deduction (“Promotion”) is only applicable to the principal cardholders ("Cardholders") of DBS Credit Cards, DBS Co-branded Cards and DBS COMPASS VISA (excluding Private Label Cards and Business Cards) ("Applicable Credit Cards") issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank"). This Promotion is not applicable to supplementary card cardholders.
  2. The Promotion runs from 28 December 2018 00:00 to 23:59 (Hong Kong Time) (Promotion Period").
  3. Cardholders conduct a single retail spending of HK$400 or above at Taobao including but not limited to Taobao (world.taobao.com), Tmall (tmall.com) or Taobao Mobile Application (“Taobao Platforms”) with Applicable Credit Cards in Promotion Period (“Eligible Transaction”) will be entitled to one of below offers:
    • Offer 1: With eligible transaction and pay on the Taobao Platforms to enjoy HK$30 discount (“Taobao Reward”) for that transaction through the Red "InstaRedeem" function of DBS Omni after the transaction posted and displayed in Timeline. Quota is limited to the first 500 redemptions and is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
    • Offer 2: With eligible transaction on the Taobao Platform and pay via AlipayHK App to enjoy a HK$30 plus an extra HK$10 discount, to a HK$40 discount in total (“AlipayHK Reward”) for that transaction through the Red "InstaRedeem" function of DBS Omni after the transaction posted and displayed in Timeline. Quota is limited to the first 500 redemptions and is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  4. Each Omni account can enjoy Offer 1 or Offer 2 once only.
  5. To be eligible to enjoy this reward, Cardholders are required to install the DBS Omni mobile application and completely register an DBS Omni account, and turn on the notification in DBS Omni setting > Push Notification > “InstaRedeem” for participating in the Promotion. Cardholders must enjoy the reward by 6 January 2019; otherwise, it is considered to give up the reward on its own.
  6. The reward entitled by Cardholders shall be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion based on the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the record held by Cardholders and that held by the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive and binding on the Cardholders.
  7. Reward is only applicable to Cardholders whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are valid, not in default and in good standing (as determined by the Bank at its sole discretion) during the Promotion Period. If the status of a Cardholder’s Applicable Credit Card account is not in good standing, the Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholder from participating in the Promotion and/or enjoying the reward.
  8. Cardholders must retain the original transaction slips of any transactions. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right to require Cardholders to submit the relevant original transaction slips, other documents or evidence for verification. The submitted transaction slips, documents and/or evidence will not be returned. If there is any discrepancy between the Bank’s record and Cardholder’s record of any transaction, the Bank’s record shall prevail.
  9. Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/non compliance by Cardholder, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the reward from Cardholder’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
  10. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions may not enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
  11. The Bank may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank’s decision is final.
  12. Any enquiry, claim or complaint in relation to the quality or availability of the products/services purchased through Taobao website shall be directed to the merchant. The Bank shall assume no liability in respect thereof.
  13. The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.

 

“Taobao Up to 11% Cash Rebate Lucky Draw” Terms and Conditions

  1. Taobao Up to 11% Cash Rebate Lucky Draw (“Offer”) is only applicable to the principal and supplementary cardholders (“Cardholders”) of DBS Credit Cards, its Co-branded Cards and DBS Compass VISA (excluding Private Label Cards, Business Cards) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”).
  2. The “Promotion Period” runs from 9 November 2018 to 31 December 2018 (both dates inclusive).
  3. To be eligible for the Offer, Cardholders are required to register the Offer successfully between 9:00am (HK Time) on 9 November 2018 and 11:59pm (HK Time) on 31 December 2018 (according to the Bank’s website record) (“Registration Period”) via webpage https://cards.dbs.com.hk or DBS Omni mobile application following below steps:
    1. Register DBS Omni account (for those Cardholders who are already with DBS Omni account may skip step i and go to step ii directly);
    2. Register the Offer with his/her Applicable Credit Cards. Cardholders have to read and confirm the acceptance of the Offer’s terms and conditions and input the required information according to the instructions. Cardholders will be given confirmation email with reference number upon successful registration for record and enquiry purposes. Each Applicable Credit Card is only required to register once.
  4. Cardholders who successfully register the Offer and complete any posted retail transactions but exclude transactions set out below in this clause (“Eligible Transactions”) at Taobao Platforms, which includes but not limited to Taobao (world.taobao.com), Tmall (tmall.com) or Taobao Mobile Application with registered Applicable Credit Cards during the Spending Period will be entitled to 1 chance to enter the Lucky Draw. The following types of transactions are not Eligible Transactions: any bill payments, any transactions that are subject to cancellation, charge-back, return of goods and/or refund, or any other categories of transactions as the Bank may specify at its absolute discretion from time to time.
  5. There are 1,000 winners for the Offer and winners will be allotted randomly by the computer system. The Bank will announce the Lucky Draw results at www.dbs.com.hk account within 3 months after the end of the Promotion Period. Each winner will be entitled to 11% Cash Rebate (“Cash Rebate”) of the Eligible Transactions and the maximum Cash Rebate for each registered Applicable Credit Card will be HK$110 during the Promotion Period. The Cash Rebate will be credited to the relevant Applicable Credit Card account within 3 months after the end of the Promotion Period and will show on the monthly statement. The name of the winner will be posted on DBS Website for announcement.
  6. All relevant transactions, based on transaction date, must be conducted during the Promotion Period.
  7. Unless otherwise specified, the Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers or discounts, coupons or membership offers. The Offers and/or prizes cannot be transferred or used to settle the minimum payment, exchanged for cash, spending credit or other discounts/products/services.

  12. If there is a supplementary card under the Applicable Credit Card account, Eligible Transactions conducted under the supplementary card will be deemed as Eligible Transactions conducted under the principal card account.
