“DBS Omni Taobao® up to HK$111 InstaRedeem Reward
- The “DBS Omni Taobao® up to HK$111 InstaRedeem Reward” (“Promotion”) is only applicable to principal cardholders (“Cardholders”) of DBS Credit Cards, its Co-branded Cards and DBS COMPASS VISA (excluding Private Label Card and Business Cards) (“Applicable Credit Cards”) issued by DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“The Bank”), and who and has performed any transactions with an Applicable Credit Card at Taobao® in the past (“Selected Customers”).
- The promotion period for the Promotion is from 1 November 2018 to 30 November 2018, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
- Selected Customers who complete any posted retail transactions with an Applicable Credit Card of HK$150 or above (including but not limited to Taobao® Marketplace (world.taobao.com), Tmall Marketplace (tmall.com) or Taobao Mobile Application), (“Eligible Transactions”) during the Promotion Period can receive an instant cash reward via the red InstaRedeem function shown on the DBS Omni mobile application’s Timeline feature after the Eligible Transaction has been posted (“Cash Reward”). Each time the red InstaRedeem function is used, the system will generate and credit a random amount of at least HK$1 and deduct the amount from the Eligible Transaction posted. Only the first 5 Eligible Transactions made are eligible for theCash Reward. Selected Customers can receive a maximum of HK$111 in total during the Promotion Period. The following types of transactions are not Eligible Transactions: any bill payments, any transactions that are subject to cancellation, charge-back, return of goods and/or refund, or any other categories of transactions as the Bank may specify at its absolute discretion from time to time.
- A total of 70,000 Cash Rewards will be given out.
- Selected Customers are required to install, register for the DBS Omni mobile application and turn on notification of "InstaRedeem" in Turn on notification of "InstaRedeem" in DBS Omni > Setting > Push Notification in order to receive the Cash Reward. Selected Customers must complete the Reward redemption by 31 December 2018, otherwise the Reward will be forfeited without further notice.
- The Cash Reward cannot be transferred, or exchanged for cash, credit limit or other discount/good/service.
- Eligibility of any transaction for the purpose receiving the Cash Reward shall be determined based on its transaction date and time in the Bank's record. If there is any discrepancy between the Bank's record and Selected Customer’s transaction slip, the Bank's record and determination shall be final and conclusive.
- All Eligible Transactions, based on transaction date, must be conducted during the Promotion Period.
- The Promotion are only applicable to Selected Customers whose Applicable Credit Card accounts are determined at the sole discretion of the Bank to be in good standing and remain valid and not in default during the relevant promotion period and when the Cash Reward is presented. The Bank shall have the sole discretion in determining a Selected Customer’s eligibility to the Promotion.
- Time and validity of any transactions and/or eligibility of a Selected Customer to the Promotion and Cash Reward shall be determined by the Bank at it sole discretion based on the Bank’s record. If there is any discrepancy between the record of transaction held by a Selected Customer and that held by the Bank, the Bank’s record shall be conclusive and binding on the Selected Customer.
- Participation in the Promotion is subject to there being no abuse/noncompliance by the Selected Customer, failing which the Bank will debit the values of the Cash Reward from the Selected Customer’s account without notice and/or take such action to recover any outstanding amounts.
- The Bank and participating merchants may change these terms and conditions and/or modify or terminate the Promotion. The Bank and participating merchant’s decision are final.
- The English version shall prevail if there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions.
