What is Odd Lot Trading Service?

“Odd Lot” commonly refers to a quantity of stocks that is less than one board lot. The Odd Lot Service allows you to place buy/sell odd lot orders for HK stocks through DBS’ Online Equity Trading Platform.

Where can I trade odd lots?

You can place odd lot orders for HK stocks via DBS’ Online Equity Trading Platform.
For DBS Treasures Private Client and DBS Private Bank customers, you may also place orders via your Relationship Manager.
In Hong Kong, DBS Private Bank is the private banking division of DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited.

When is the odd lot trading period?

The trading hours for HK stock Odd Lot Service are 09:30 - 16:00 (Hong Kong Time).
Please note that odd lot placement/ amendment/ cancellation is not accepted during 16:00 - 16:10 HKT for full day trading and 12:00 - 12:10 HKT for half day trading. Any HK stock odd lot order submitted after 16:10 will be treated as next trading day's order.

How would the odd lot transaction be charged?

Brokerage commission of trading odd lots is the same as trading board lots.
