What is DBS Online Trading Platform?

DBS Online Trading Platform is a new DBS online platform offered to our customers for trading of equities through their Securities Account under the DBS Private Bank Master Agreement (for DBS Private Bank Clients) / Wealth Management Securities Account under the DBS Treasures Private Client Terms and Conditions (for DBS Treasures Private Clients ) / Wealth Management Securities Account under the Terms and Conditions for Accounts under Wealth Management Investment Portfolio (Wealth Management Accounts) (for DBS Treasures).

You are able to trade in seven major markets of Hong Kong, Singapore, U.S., Canada, Japan, Australia and United Kingdom. You can access the trading platform via DBS iBanking service anytime anywhere to view your portfolio and place trades in any of the seven major markets. You can choose the eligible portfolios displayed to be the designated account for your online purchase and sale of equities through the Bank. Equities traded through DBS Online Trading Platform will be treated as part of your assets under management with the Bank.

What are the benefits of using DBS Online Trading Platform?

DBS Online Trading Platform provides greater convenience and you can:

  • Place orders anytime anywhere including during non-exchange hours.
  • Trade Hong Kong, Singapore, U.S., Canada, Japan, Australia and United Kingdom stocks online.
  • One-stop trade settlement after trade execution.
  • Consolidated portfolio view of all investment holdings with the Bank via DBS Internet Banking.
  • Comprehensive monthly statement with investment costs and valuation in investment currencies and selected portfolio currency.
  • Read latest market news and research reports from DBS Wealth Management and DBS Vickers.

What are the requirements of using the DBS Online Trading Platform?

In order to use the service, you must:

  • have an existing DBS Wealth relationship (DBS Private Bank, DBS Treasures Private Client or DBS Treasures*);
  • have registered DBS iBanking Service; and
  • not maintain a Securities Account under the Investment Products Consolidated Terms and Conditions.
* DBS Treasures customers must open and maintain Wealth Management Accounts with the Bank.

I have a single- or joint-named account, can I trade via DBS Online Trading Platform?

DBS Online Trading Platform is enabled for Single-named account and Joint-named account which does not require joint signatures as per your set up in the DBS Wealth Management Accounts. You will not be able to trade via DBS Wealth Online Equities Trading Service using a joint-named account that requires joint signatures.
