Security Features :
1. What are the security mechanisms present in IDEAL™ to ensure the highest level of security?
| DBS has deployed the following security mechanisms in place: |
- Transmission and Login Security
- IDEAL™ is a VeriSign Secured Site. All information is sent in a Secure Socket Layer session and is encrypted to protect customers against unintentional information disclosure to third parties.
- Login with unique Organisation ID and User ID
- Token login and authorisation (for transaction subscriber only)
- File Upload Security
- Public Key Infrastructure
- Triple Data Encryption Standard

| In addition, the following configurations are set-up by the bank based on the entitlement process during implementation: |
- User access
- Settlement account access

Automatic Logout Feature
IDEAL™ automatically terminates the current session when it detects an inactivity of more than 15 minutes. The user will need to login again using their User ID and login PIN to continue access to the service.
Constant and Vigilant Monitoring
We have put in place security surveillance systems to constantly monitor and detect our network & system in order to protect our clients' information & perform transaction in a secure environment.
Regular Review and Audit
Regular security reviews and audits are conducted by internal as well as external auditors.

2. Does IDEAL™ store the User ID in the cache?
For added security, IDEAL™ does not store the User ID in the cache.

3. Are audit trails available via IDEAL™?
A full audit trail is available in IDEAL™. It captures information relating to the transaction such as date, action performed, and name of the user.
