DBS ec-banking
| Terms and Conditions: |
| 1. |
The
promotions run from
1 May 2010 to 30 September 2010, both dates inclusive
(the "Promotion Period"). |
| 2. |
Double Credit Card Bonus Points
Reward (“Double Credit Card Bonus Points Reward”) |
| |
| (a) |
The Double Credit Card Bonus Points Reward is
available to all DBS ec-banking customers (the
"Customer(s)") of DBS Bank (Hong Kong)
Limited (the “Bank”, which expression
includes its successor and assigns). |
| (b) |
Customers must register at the Bank’s
website (www.dbs.com/hk/apply) to participate
in the Double Credit Card Bonus Points Reward
and successfully pay the bill(s) of any entity
falling under one of the designated merchant categories
set out in Clause 2c below with a registered DBS
credit card or COMPASS VISA via DBS ec-banking
during the Promotion Period (such payment transaction(s)
must also fulfill the requirements set out in
Clause 2d below) ("Eligible Transaction(s)")
will be entitled to earn double credit card bonus
points; or with respect to payment of bills for
banking and credit card services, credit cards
bonus points calculated on the basis of HK$1 for
1 credit card bonus point. |

| (d) |
Online bill payment transactions must fulfill
the following requirement(s) in order to be considered
as Eligible Transactions:- |

| i. |
All immediate payments or scheduled payments
must be completed within the Promotion Period;
|
| ii. |
If a Customer pays the same bill via DBS
ec-banking by more than one immediate payment
and/or scheduled payment during the Promotion
Period, such transactions will be considered
as one Eligible Transaction only; and |
| iii. |
The amount paid by the Customers must
be used for settling, in whole or in part,
the balance due from bills issued by entities
under the designated merchant categories.
The Bank reserves the right to disqualify
the Customers from getting any credit card
bonus points for any transaction that is
found to be ineligible, invalid, non-genuine,
cancelled, irregular or deceptive as determined
by the Bank at its sole discretion. |

| (e) |
Each Customer can only earn up to 5,000 credit
card bonus points in each calendar month during
the Promotion Period under the Double Credit Card
Bonus Points Reward, which means that each customer
can only earn a maximum total of 25,000 credit
card bonus points during the whole Promotion Period.

| 3. |
1,000,000 Credit Card Bonus Points Lucky Draw (“Lucky
Draw”) |
| |
| (a) |
All Customers who have registered to participate
in the Double Credit Card Bonus Points Reward
is eligible for participation in the Lucky Draw.
|
| (b) |
For each Eligible Transaction conducted by a
Customer during the Promotion Period in accordance
with Clause 2b above, the Customer shall become
eligible for 1 chance to participate in the Lucky
Draw held in the corresponding calendar month.
|
| (c) |
There will be 5 rounds of Lucky Draw conducted
during the Promotion Period. The Lucky Draws will
be conducted according to the following schedule.
The date and time of all payment transactions
shall be determined based on the Bank's record.
Results of the Lucky Draws will be announced on
the Bank’s website (www.dbs.com/hk). |

| (d) |
One winner will be drawn randomly from each
Lucky Draw by the computer system and each winner
will be entitled to 1,000,000 credit card bonus
points. Each Customer can only be rewarded with
the prize of a Lucky Draw once during the Promotion
Period. |

| 4. |
For Customers who have opted
for the Cash Rebate Scheme or COMPASS Dollar rebate
in respect of the registered DBS credit card or COMPASS
VISA, the Bank will reward the Customers with cash
rebate or COMPASS Dollars (as the case may be) calculated
on the basis of every 250 credit card bonus points
for HK$1 cash rebate or COMPASS Dollar (“Cash
Rebate”) in place of the credit card bonus points
earned from the Double Credit Card Bonus Points Reward
or the Lucky Draw. |
| 5. |
The credit card bonus points/Cash Rebate will be credited
to the relevant Customers’ registered DBS Credit
Card Account on or before 30 November 2010 and such
entry will be shown in the monthly statement. If the
relevant Customer is a supplementary holder of a DBS
credit card or COMPASS VISA, the credit card bonus points/Cash
Rebate will be credited to the principal cardholder’s
credit card account. To obtain the credit card bonus
points/Cash Rebate, the relevant Customers must remain
to be DBS ec-banking customers at the time the credit
card bonus points/Cash Rebate are credited. |
| 6. |
Any fraud and/or abuse of the
promotions by a customer (as determined by the Bank
at its sole discretion) will result in forfeiture
of the customer’s eligibility to participate
in the promotions and/or cancellation of the customer’s
account(s). The Bank reserves the right to deduct
the equivalent value of any reward or prizes awarded
to a customer inappropriately pursuant to any fraud
and/or abuse directly from the customer’s account(s)
with the Bank without prior notice and/or take legal
action in such instances to recover any outstanding
amounts. |
| 7. |
The Bank reserves the right to
amend the above Terms and Conditions at any time and/or
vary or discontinue the promotions without prior notice.
In the event of disputes, the decision of the Bank
shall be final and binding. |
| 8. |
If there is any discrepancy between
the English and the Chinese versions of these Terms
and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
