Terms and conditions: 1. The program runs from 18 August to 17 October 2008, both dates inclusive (the "Promotion Period"). 2. Welcome Offer a.  New DBS ec-banking customers ("New Customer(s)") refer to customers who register for DBS ec-banking with DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank", which expression shall include its successors and assigns) during the Promotion Period and do not have any DBS ec-banking account within 6 months prior to the Promotion Period. b. New Customers who successfully make an online bill payment with HK$200 or above through the "Payment Services" of DBS ec-banking within the Promotion Period will be rewarded with a HK$25 Starbucks® Coffee Gift Certificate ("Welcome Offer"). Each New Customer will be rewarded with the Welcome Offer once only. 3. DBS ec-banking Bill Payment Lucky Draw a.  The DBS ec-banking Bill Payment Lucky Draw (the "Lucky Draw") is only applicable to selected DBS ec-banking customers and New Customers (the "Customer(s)"). All New Customers can enter the Lucky Draw 2 days (9:00 a.m.) after the registration. b. Customers who successfully make an online bill payment with HK$200 or above through the "Payment Services" of DBS ec-banking within the Promotion Period ("Eligible Transaction(s)") will get one entry to the Lucky Draw. If Customers pay the same bill more than one time within the same month, or settle more than one bill with same account number within the same month, or combine bills of different months as one bill payment, Customers can get one Lucky Draw entry only. If the number of Customers' Eligible Transaction is over 30, Customers can only get a maximum of 30 Lucky Draw entries. c. All transactions of immediate and scheduled payments shall be completed within the Promotion Period in order to be treated as Eligible Transactions. d. Eligible Transactions will be shown in the Lucky Draw webpage www.dbs.com/hk/luckydraw 2 days (9:00 a.m.) after the bill payment date. Customers can click the "Play" button to start the Lucky Draw. Customers shall not close the browser once the draw starts. If the Lucky Draw result cannot be shown in the webpage under whatever circumstances and conditions during the Lucky Draw process, the record of the Bank shall be final. Customers are required to install Adobe Flash Player version 8.0 or above in their computers in order to view the Lucky Draw result. For software upgrade, please visit Adobe's webpage at www.adobe.com. e. The Lucky Draw prizes include grand prizes: $5,000 Dollar or HK$5,000 SOGO Cash Coupon for 4 winners, 2nd prizes: HK$50 PARKnSHOP Cash Coupon for 400 winners and 3rd prizes: HK$25 Starbucks® Coffee Gift Certificate for 2,000 winners ("Prize(s)"). The Prizes will be drawn randomly by the Bank's system. The lucky draw period is 18 August to 31 October 2008. f. All draws will be completed by 23:59:59 on 31 October 2008 (Hong Kong Time). Entries thereafter will become invalid. All date and time shall be referred to those of the Bank's system. 4. The amount paid by Customers shall be a settlement for the balance due (in whole or in part) to the bills of designated merchants. The Bank reserves the right to disqualify Customers from acquiring any Prize won by any transactions that are found to be ineligible, invalid, non-genuine or due to any irregularity or deception as the Bank may at its discretion determines. 5. $5,000 Dollar/HK$5,000 SOGO Cash Coupon: Winner who has a valid on 31 December 2008 will be entitled to receive $5,000 Dollar. Only primary cardholder will be entitled to Dollar. If winner does not have a valid , he/she will be entitled to the HK$5,000 SOGO Cash Coupon. The Dollar and SOGO Cash Coupon cannot be exchanged/redeemed for cash. 6. The Welcome Offers, and/or the cash coupons/gift certificates will be mailed to the eligible Customers and/or winners, and/or Dollar will be credited to the specified accounts of the winners and will be shown in the statement on or before 31 December 2008. The Customers shall remain as DBS ec-banking customers at the time of crediting Dollar or posting of the cash coupons/gift certificates. 7. The Bank is not the supplier of the Prizes. Any enquiry or complaint for the quality of the Prizes or the services provided relating thereto should be directed to the relevant merchants. The Bank shall assume no liability in respect thereof. The Bank reserves the right to replace the cash coupons/gift certificates with other gifts in case of running out of stock without prior notice. The Prizes cannot be exchangeable/redeemed for cash, and is subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the respective merchants. 8. Employees of the Bank and advertising agencies for the promotion are not eligible to enter the Lucky Draw. 9. The Bank reserves the right to make all final decisions on all matters concerning the Lucky Draw /the Welcome Offers and to vary and/or discontinue any offer without prior notice. 10. If there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
