Introduction of Closing Auction Session for Securities Trading Service
In line with the arrangement of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, starting from 26 May 2008, Closing Auction Session will be introduced for our securities trading service, which will commence immediately after the continuous trading session during normal day trading from 4:00pm to 4:10pm (or from 12:30pm to 12:40pm for half-day trading).
Any unfilled Enhanced Limit Order/Limit Order after the continuous trading session will be carried forward to the Closing Auction Session as At-Auction Limit Order for matching. Customers can also place/amend/cancel At-Auction Limit Order from 4:00pm to 4:08pm on normal day trading (or from 12:30pm to 12:38pm for half-day trading). Any unfilled orders after the Closing Auction Session of that trading day will be cancelled automatically.
