Caring for you and your domestic helper
If you have a domestic helper at home, you will agree that taking care of him or her is in fact taking care of your own well-being. DBS Bank Domestic Helper Insurance enables you to fulfil your legal obligation as an employer, it also offers full healthcare coverage as well as a range of extra benefits for you and your helper.
Full healthcare cover including clinical & physiotherapist treatment expenses
While the surgical and hospitalisation cover take care of expenses arising from serious accidents or illnesses, the out-patient and dental cover help ensure the everyday health of your helper. In case a home accident leaves your helper injured, cover for bonesetter or physiotherapist treatment is included.
Hospital cash benefit up to HK$6,000
When your helper is hospitalised, you will receive a daily hospital cash benefit of HK$200 for up to HK$6,000 per year to get temporary helper service. Even if the helper suffers permanent disablement or death outside the employment (during rest days), the plan provides HK$100,000 cash benefits to your helper or his / her family.
Replacing your helper at no extra costs
If the health problem of your helper becomes so serious that repatriation is needed, the repatriation costs as well as the administration costs of getting a new helper are covered. If the helper is replaced on contract completion or because of unsatisfactory service, the cover is extended free of charge, for the period from the termination of one helper to the arrival of a new one for up to 3 months. In other words, you do not pay any premium during the said period.
