Security
  1. Is using DBS 3G Banking secure?
DBS 3G Banking employs the following security measures to safeguard your personal and account information:
    • Security Measures
      • Data Encryption
We apply the industry standard SSL technology. You will need to download Java applications from us to encrypt your personal and financial information, and establish an end-to-end secure connection to our systems. The encryption is indicated by a padlock icon on the screen.
      • Add-on Protection
In addition to the normal password access control, you have the option of adding your mother's maiden name and designated mobile phone number for an extra authentication during registration.
    • Access Control
      • Logon Control
Your account will be automatically locked if you key in the password incorrectly for three consecutive times. In such instances, you will need to register again.
      • Session Time-Out
After you have logged on, if your DBS 3G Banking session has been left idle for more than 8 minutes, you will be logged off automatically.
      • Transfer Control
Third Party Fund Transfer can only be paid to pre-registered payees. Pre-registration can be performed by submitting the "Phone Banking / Mobile Banking Service Request Form" to any of our branches in person.
Bill Payment can only be paid to pre-registered payees. Please log on to DBS ec-banking to add the payees to “My Payee List”.
